I'm still finding it really hard to pin-point the main message that was being conveyed, because there are so many. I think the main thing Oda tried to convey were the aspirations of a Marine, rather than a Pirate which is already heavily highlighted in One Piece. Ultimately this is a story about Z's aspirations more than anyone elses, hence the title shown again at the credits.
Anyone else want to give a shot at tackling it?

I'm not surprised there wouldn't be another movie unless it surpasses Film Z. I think would be very hard to imagine even the story is only currently past the start of the New World.Spoiler:
So when Oda drew those characters we never saw as children in his S.B.S, was he intending to put them in Film Z before he drew them, or was it a coincidence? It was cool seeing them animated, but the surprise was spoiled by seeing them already!
Also, I can't fully grasp the first scene with the crew celebrating the end of Autumn with the cherry blossoms. (where are the petals falling from?) They mention things such as the poison protecting Usopps plants are affecting them, and Zoro and Chopper both comment on accepting/not-accepting the change. Then Robin mentions how agricultural chemicals can affect the human body.
It's like there's supposed to be some meaning or metaphor behind it, maybe to do with accepting the passing of time. It seems out of place from the usual crew carry-on, especially for their introductory scene.

So how come akainu still boast about justice and stuffs. He's the same corrupt level as WG themselves.
Just saw this a day ago. This was one of the best anime movies I've seen, certainly better than the few OP movies I have seen. The illustration and its style was beautiful, I don't just mean more detail than the half assed attempts of the way the anime is now, I just mean in general, the colors, feel, really engaging. I know it's not possible, but having high detailed illustrations like this would be amazing in the anime, makes me wish the anime itself would only air for half a year and we would get a great anime.
I loved the story, everything flowed well and the antagonist was really an awesome villain. I have to say though, is it me or does Garp and Sengoku look a lot older? :S Luffy in this also doesn't look 12 anymore, which was nice to see. Animation, illustration, music (loved that song that Aokiji(?) was singing), story, pace, everything went well together like a well oiled machine. Is this canon?
Kizaru, man. The way his fight scenes were done, it's almost as if he was god-like.
Incredible movie! Loved every second of it!
You guys have no idea how excited I get to meet One Piece enthusiasts in real life! One Piece fans know how to live and love life!
My dream is that we can all enjoy Oda's message ofcamaraderie
Wow the subbed movie came out way earlier than I expected. I really love the camera/angle works in the fight scenes of the movie, they are one of the best parts. The only problem is the quality of the video but I'll watch the movie again when they upload a better quality and better translation of it.
Z was definitely a way better villain than Shiki

That means a better quality rip will be available fairly soon.

Don't ask me what a screen jack is, that's what it says.
I dunno, mugiwawaras hijacked the screen? lol
Meh boring standard junk. Throw in like a limited edition Figuarts Zero figure or something.
You just know that the limited one will sell like cupcakes due to a certain orange-haired lady displaying her refined body.
3DS Code: 1435-3516-1823
First time I would actually order a Blue Ray overseas, its worth it, I want it. I also want it to sell out and for the producers to aim for this kind of quality in the future
