Old article is old. Besides they made the right call, the Last of Us looks great but, according to them, a new Jak would have been anything but. They were forcing themselves, I'll take no game over a crappy game.

Jak and daxter was awesome, Jak 2 was tolerable I didn't mind it that much, Jak 3 was pushing it pretty hard. Sadly making a 4th one when the story really doesn't have anywhere to go is a bad move so I will have to agree with Buuhan making a 4th one would have been a bad move.

I loved Jak 2 and Jak 3 when I initially played them, but I was surprised that the original had so much staying power compared to the other two, which did not age well (again, I still like Jak 3).

At the end of the day, I'm just upset that I lost a chance at one of the very few next-gen platformers in favor of another zombie game. It's going to be a great game, I'm sure, but it's already crippled Uncharted 3, too, so I'm not happy with it. Not happy at all.

Oh, Sly 4, you will be my salvation.

I'm not angry at the Last of Us for Uncharted 3, but Naughty Dog for not sticking together just so they could get a game out quicker. I know this console generation is ending but I'd rather had an amazing Uncharted 3 and a (probably) amazing the Last of Us in 2014. Naughty Dog was a single team for decades, they shouldn't change now... especially not right after their biggest achievement (Uncharted 2).

Uncharted's getting held off for new PS4 by now I'd imagine. Although didn't some of the teams end up going to Retro not long ago? (I think the ones who were in charge of locations and the main guy for music.)

Finally, Fungus gameplay! This type of Fungus are called "clickers." The fungi has evolved to the point it has consumed most of the hosts face rendering them blind, they instead see with echolocation and follow sound.
