Great episode, and like others have said hammonds voice is great and now makes himseem a bit cooler than he original seemed. And Hody, god damn thats an awesome set of pipes playing him, hes one of my favorite one piece characters (yea i dont care what the haters say) and this is gonna make watching him in action a real treat.

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode damn Hody and Hammond getting slightly cooler in my book! if only,sigh, anyway. It can't expand on the history and characters more than Oda has but I hope the anime adds exploring the island filler that would be nice.

As for the episode, it was great. I really wished Oda added most of the filler in the manga, the exploration parts were rushed imho .

Some things in this episode that weren't in the manga(not sure if they were). Like the bubble currents explained, the other fishman's name. You can also clearly see where the water is, which is a bonus. I do wonder why they weren't in the manga.. time constraints?

I seriously think my favorite part of the episode was Usopp and Camie freaking out at the same time XD And more heavenly music when Sanji despairs! Ha.

I am, however, surprised that Hammond and Hodi both have great voices. Overall, good episode.

I guess the reason people "hate" Hody is because they wanted more out of him. Most likely another sob story past to make him seem more "believable" or some other such nonsense. Personally, I like Hody for what he is. I think he's one of the more original villains we've had and that's what Oda was going for.
And filler has never been good. I don't care how many Zoros are in it -- though I am preparing my body for massive fillers to come; we're way too close to the manga.

And on another note, Hammond gets his goatee next episode. Anyone else notice this, too? I guess Toei is deliberately copying Oda's mistakes now, since this also happened with Brook's manager. I wish they'd .. y'know .. use common sense instead.

On another note, who says this arc isn't funny? I'm laughing pretty hard right at the beginning so far. Even the Sanji stuff hasn't gotten old YET

Also, this episode was pretty good-aru. I'm surprised that the anime has been able to keep a consistent good pace ever since the beginning of the timeskip. I hope they're able to keep this up. I could get used to it.

Wait like 2 or 3 days then download the episode from minitheatre. They link to 70mb rips of Yonkou-subs. That's the lowest size for quality you'll get, AFAIK.
Use a download manager so you'll be able to make use of the resumable downloads feature to download over sessions.
