Overall ok'ish episode, except that Fukaboshi's face looked distorted and weird. But who can blame them, even in the manga his face seems to change every few chapters.

but even worse, not even the face shape, nor the chin, nose, eyes angle, nor anything is right. they also screwed it up even more by adding those shadows from his nose, the eyebags and the dark lines around the eyes. He looks nothing short of a villain P:

I'm not sure whether Oda actually intended for Gear 2nd to be compartmentalized now, whether he just changed his mind, or whether the anime is just screwing up, but I actually like that the anime is doing it full-body. Considering Gear 2nd comes from accelerating the pumping of his circulation system, it makes a hell of a lot more sense for it to be a full-body effect.

there`s no such thing as worst drawn in the manga. unless you mean he got somehow screwed up in most of his panels P:

oda can draw them as wacky as he wishes, as long as the design is consistent. but the anime can`t do that unless it`s the strawhats or some main cast. just look at Keimi on the last episode, she looked really weird, the neck and the face shape

And on this episode Hamo`s gang are more screwed up than last`s, but at least they didn`t forgot Hamo`s goatee <3

How? If you mean a character design. The original source is Oda. So Oda can only draw them bad in comparison to the original source, which happens to be himself. So, as i said, it can only be if the character looks like crap in most of its paneltime O_O

Otherwise Oda just decided they will have a wacky design, like, for example, Saint Myosgard`s dad.

I prefer the anime Fukaboshi by far... also i think G2 was always supposed to be fullbody, it doesnt make any sense at all having just an arm with G2 or another body part.

Anyways, I suspect we'll get fillers soon, but I'm prepared for it. I dunno what it was....the vibrant colors of the episode or its animation, but no complains this week from me. The 3 princes all have good voices, too.

What are you talking about? IIRC, you said the same thing last week? We're 40 chapters behind, like we've been for the past several episodes. The anime will get a little closer since we only have 2 chapters over the next 4 weeks but there's no reason why we'll get too close for comfort.

That's too close.
The anime, regularly, always stays a good one arc behind the manga as a rough estimate. When we were being introduced to Sabo and Dadan, the anime was still in Impel Down. This arc is about Thriller Bark-sized in the manga assuming it ends quickly; having the anime catch up is not unreasonable. And yes, I believe I did mention something similar last week, so you're recalling correctly.

This. He looks much better in the anime in my opinion. But of course people always have to find an issue.
