    A small side project, "Breaking Breakfast" in which I replace Breaking Bad Characters with cereal mascots, and meth with sugar cereal. Most likely its only going to be first season stuff.

    I know One page is going to be discussing who their not going to use berries and they're going to respect the recipe. Another page is going to be "This pure sugar!". And I know Tuco is going to be Tucan Sam with a little bit of Sunny. And instead of Hesienburg, its going to be Kellog.

    Let's see if I get roughly 50 seconds of animation done by Tuesday, along with a motion graphic video, and a few commissions!

    Into the Lion’s Den: An Outsider’s Look into the Fighting Game Community

    Here's another Nightmaremode.net illustration. This time the article is a inside look at the fighting game community. I drew Ryu... cause he's iconic! And Poison... because people like traps! Good o' Trapcom. Mmmhm.

    I feel like I say this a lot, but this one of those pieces that had the sad fate popping on my list-of-things-to-do when it was already a big list. Well... the coloring is good.. right? Oh and the article (with my illustration) made its way to Penny Arcade, but they pixelated the image and forgot to credit me. Whoops!

    Seriously when I made this yesterday, it was in less than 2 hours. The same day I had ti animated over a minutes worth for that motion graphic video commission. I was so stressed.

    Just a heads up everyone.

    There is a good chance I'll be doing an 3 hour live-stream this Thursday 8pm (Indiana/Kentucky time).

    3 Hours
    15 Sketches
    10 Minutes Each
    3 10 Minute breaks

    The idea is to help spread word for Indiana Uploaded, a non-profit group trying to prevent creative brain drain in Indiana and help support students that want to be in the Multi-Media fields such as film, animation, and video games. Indiana Uploaded is currently in the Brackets for Good competition and are trying to raise money for their cause.

    I'll be giving a link and more information when it comes.

    If you've been following me on Facebook or Twitter you then its no surprised that I am been a big supporter of Indiana Uploaded, especially during their campaign on the non for profit funding competition Brackets for Good.

    I am happy to announce that I will be doing a live stream tomorrow night at 8pm (Eastern time, -5:00) to help bring in donations to their cause. What is Indiana Uploaded? What are there causes? Well, Indiana Uploaded's founder Zeb Wood explains it best.

    They've made it to the second round, but for them to survive this week their going to need all the help we can bring in!

    For more information on Indiana Uploaded and their campaign on Brackets for Good, please visit this link; http://indianauploaded.org/bfg/

    The live stream will feature me dedicating 15 sketches in 3 hours. That's 10 minutes dedicated to each of the 15 sketches, with 3 10 minute breaks. Zeb Wood will be in the chat to talk about Indiana Uploaded, and I'm hoping to bring in some donations. But don't worry you can still watch without donating.

    All 15 sketches will be posted here the following day. Hope to see you all there.

    Sketch-A-Thon was a success! Some technical issues with Justin.tv's chat.. But otherwise a very fun and exciting experience. I was really happy to know that a few of the people who watched did donated! As promised here are all 15 10 Minute sketches made in order!

    Hahah I really like the concept of this one! I think I would love to see this as an actual comic! If you happen to not have anything on your agenda, don't forget this idea
    Alos thanks to your vid, I feel like playing B-ball with a soccer ball now. Subliminal messages I tell you!

    The way you describe Indiana uploaded, they seem like pretty cool guys, especially the part where they help other artists with money from their own pockets. Your vid is a nice contribution, I hope they reach their goal!

    Well just to update, Indiana Uploaded got a enough points literally seconds before round 2 ended, and made it into Round 3. The final round! Because of this, the contest for Indiana Uploaded's Viral Video campaign was extended, so if you haven't yet, please like this video on youtube. I could really use the money!

    I'm gonna drop some info down on what I am currently working on;

    I a making a jump from Stevenbrownsblog.com to StevenRayBrown.com. A web friend of mine offered to help me out by making me a word-press site, so I might be doing some site revamping. Which is always exciting! But for those who still want to look at the blog you have to look at it with this url for now; http://startathought.blogspot.com/ And as always you can follow the Facebook or Twitter.

    Extended an extra week, still working on that Garden Tower video project. Its rendering as I type, and if the clients stop making changes to it, I should out of the woods soon.

    I'm currently working on producing a Jem remake pilot pitch. I'm very excited about it, it has nothing to do with Hasbro, but we're going to pitch it to them. My version includes a younger Jerricka/Jem finding out that price of fame. Basically its going to be a parody of the music industry's choice of using image over substance. I'll be releasing some of the character designs to the web soon.

    I'm working on the script for the pilot toon. The toon will be about 5 minutes long, most of which will be a music video, but there will be a small story to get a vibe of what we're going for. I'm excited because I've got some talented people working this with me.

    I'm making some finishing touches on the spider cartoon, literally one shot left. I still need to do audio for it, but otherwise its done! You should be seeing that sometime this or next week.

    I will be doing another live stream sometime this week for the Indiana Uploaded's round 3. Won't be 3 hours long, maybe 2 hours. I'll keep you updated on that one.

    I'm also working on an 1 minute RYE Bread Radio cartoon based off a skit they did on their show. Its really really funny. I'm currently working on the storyboards tonight.

    @Tigerlilly, Thanks! I actually sketched out 3 pages of the Breaking Breakfast comic. I just don't know when I'll be able to ink them and color them.

    Finally dropped the Community cartoon storyboards on to the web;

    You can see them all here.

    Yesterday I forgot to mention that I'm also going to be in a 49 Hour film competition this or next week, don't rmemeber. I'm doing a 3D animated short with 4 other guys. Our team is the humorously funny named, "Purple Cobras" from Dodge-ball.

    Because Indiana Uploaded made it to round 3, and because people keep asking for another one; here is Sketch-a-Thon 2.
