I'm not dissapointed with Smoker being a a vice admiral. I mean so was Garp and that didn't stop him being one of the strongest badasses in the navy.

Damn, Tashigi's gotten better. Love how she diverted the canon ball. Reminded of what Zoro did with the bullets in the Krieg arc, but I guess this is different. She seems to have caught the canon ball with her sword and just threw it behind her.

Interesting, Zoro's reintroduction was very similar to Mihawk cutting the huge galleon. Tashigi's introduction was similar to Mihawk defelcting the bullets.

Hm, so we still have no confirmation that Luffy's haki is strong enough to harm logia's. Caribou didn't even know who knocked him out (caught off-guard like Alabasta Smoker), and Pekom's comment about "logias like him" says enough about his mastery.

Whatever, Jinbe and crew joined Big Mom. Doesn't make real sense to me, since Jinbe should be able to offer enough protection (and the crew can't be that weak). On the other hand, the Marines under Akainu might have really turned paradise pretty much into a "no pirate" area, leaving Jinbe only with the choice between confronting Soldiers on a daily basis or the dangerous New World, where you either conquer like a boss or seek protection under a Yonko.

Speaking of terrifying Marines...well here they are. And hell yeah, Smoker and Tashigi look badass. As for him being "only" a Vice-Admiral, we know that he doesn't follow orders enough to jump on the Admiral position this soon. Hell, even his branch is known for doing whatever the fuck they want. Awesome, really. The hunt can begin.

Excellent Chapter! Good to see that Tashgi got more powerful, but I dont like how Oda bascially gave her Nami's body shape, a usual critism of Oda and his female characters.
