Amazing chapter. Sure the Nami bit was gratuitous as hell and I don't care about Bink's sake, but the atmosphere was great. Hope we get to see the first island soon.
These really good, informative chapters lately have almost made me forget the abomination that was Fishman Island. I hope there won't be a super long arc yet, though. Then again, I don't even know if New World islands have got any people or countries to build a story upon, so even if there's a long arc it might be something completely different.
It was cool chapter and I really liked the fishing scene :D And the ending was great, but I'm disappointed that they won't meet Smoker :(
I dunno.
This Chapter was more about why I watch One Piece, not why I read it. I'll do my standard second read later in the day.
Those whales with the same scarring as Laboon, could this add credence to the theory that the Red Line will eventually be destroyed somehow?
One Piece: A story about a band of pirates calling themselves "Nakama" on a hunt for a legendary treasure. A story that teaches important values of friendship, and this is why I really got into the story. I have fallen in love with Nico Robin, she is everything that I ever was.
On the story point of view, chapter is looking pretty pointless. But based on Oda's track record, those whales will probably become relevant in the future.
Signature?...Don't have one.
It could be possible the SH's ended up near the Fire Island Bonney was on when defeated by Blackbeard? Just a thought.
Another thing that is interesting is how the weather is horrible. I'm thinking it's symbolic since Luffy's going to stir up lots of trouble, more than any other pirate in the New World. I for one loved the last page.
How much can you do? Just grab a ball and juggle.
All those balls in the air, How hard can it be?
So hard you're getting dizzy!
Keep those balls in the air, Keep those balls in the ai-air!
Balls in the air!
And finally, the new world~
Another good breather chapter. The Whales and Brook... that was adorable!
Oh, by the way, a Gam is a group of Whales.
Just realised, Usopp used his slingshot to hook the fish?
BTW, what does GAM really stands for? mangastream says it's "Shogun", mangareader says it's "Small Group".
Signature?...Don't have one.
It's really not GAM but gam. I though is was an acronym at first...http://www.blurtit.com/q811820.htmlA Gam of whales is a group of whales that is not related via family. When a group is family-related, it is referred to as a pod; however, since pod is the more well-known term, it is often used even when incorrect
OMG freaking hillarious and amazing chapter. When i saw the whirlpool at first i thought that smoker was attacking them after I saw the name of it. Also sanji's head count was the highlight of the chapter. Brook getting emotional was good and convenient how they found Laboon's parents who probably were bashing their heads trying to get to ther first half of the grand line. Using the fish as bait to catch a better fish by accident and still keeping both was just amazing. I quickly noticed that Zoro could do 360 lb cannon with one sword instead of 180 with 3. Definetly got much stronger. The reaction at the end is just glorious. Everyone is excited for the NewWorld except for Usopp and Chopper who look a little intimidated. Can't wait til 655 screw that actually can't wait to see what will happen in chapter 666 whooo
Will someone tell me how to make a signature already? UGH!
Wow, what a beautiful episode.
I want to give Brook a hug. =(
Is the Japanese title actually "Gam (Shogun)"? Or is it just "Shogun"?
