Good episode, but the pacing was definitely slow. Chopper's Kung-Fu point looked a lot bigger than it did in the manga, at least in my opinion. I liked the individual eye-catches, but, like some have already said, I hope they get more individualized, with matching music...

@Saturnchild: The same thing happened to me on watchop, but I just loaded up another one of the mirrors and it had the correct video...

I liked how they explained how the palace went from ''full of water'' to ''no water.'' Other than that I don't have too much to say, but the altered eyecatches are a step in the right direction. Now they just need to change the music and who the final shot centers on, and we'll be golden.

Oh they changed the eyecatches?!? I thought they would just keep these for the remainder of the series considering how long they kept the eyecatches from Ep 207.

The pacing was overall good and there was some good direction as well, adding some suspense to the hostage situation. The animation was also above average for the show in general. The Brook scene was great, especially the use of the "dramatic pause." Definitely a highlight of an overall quality episode.

The added scenes of showing how there was no more water filling the throne room was pretty inspired and fit well with the tone of the episode, being both logical and silly.

Also, I just realized that the "New World log pose" is first mentioned during this hostage scene.

Meh, it was a pretty decent episode. The new eyecatchers were a big surprise! Can't wait to see the other ones for the rest of the crew.
Shirahoshi was even more annoying than last week. Every time she had a line, she was either crying or being timid.
Next week looks like it's going to somewhat better. Let's hope.

I've been pretty impressed with Shirahoshi. They've straddled the line between annoying and endearing, which fits her character perfectly.

Also, kind of think the Ryuguu Palace bubble situation made more sense. Never have figured out why so many Fishman/Merman-based areas tend to be full of air rather than water.

Oh I missed the eye catch and now the video I watched is already removed and I just watched it like no more than 10 minutes ago lol. I think after not seeing a new one in so long when I hear the trumpet my mind wanders so I blanked out.

My eyes have gotten used to glazing at the new eyecatches as well. Didn't notice they were new until the big Chopper hat half-filled the screen during the second one

Really enjoyed seeing they're passed using just the Luffy eye catch. Can't wait to see the others.

And was totally expecting Kung Fu Point to be shorter, not as tall as the guards.

loved the bruce lee sound effects in kung fu point. I wonder when we get to see chopper's control over monster point.

Also, analysing manga and anime, it appears we have approximately 39-40 episodes to go before the end of the arc.

After just finishing my marathon and binge after getting into it again (so all 533) in about a month, I think i'm having withdrawals.
