I don't mind that they put Hatchan's flashback in normal chronological order. Makes for a better narrative that way. And next week looks amazing.

I hate to say it, but the anime's so far been doing a better job telling the Fishman Island story than Oda did.

I can think of a few arcs I think were better in the anime than the manga. It really works in Fishman Island story's favor if they take some parts slower. The setting itself is the kind of setting that works better in color.

We got to hear Den's voice earlier than expected. Does anyone know who his VA is?
Great voice acting from Hody and Decken. Liked the color transition when Decken touched Hachi.
And Chopper was being too cute, dammit! >.<

I overlooked it in the manga, but I think Chopper's "Where's a doctor?!" gag got an update here with someone else asking for one and his asserting "I am a doctor!" Pretty clever.

How did I notice it this time, you may ask? Well, it helped that I couldn't rewind in the Funi stream without the same add popping up every single time at the exact same spot... Has that always been a problem, or is that new?

Third'd. Enjoying this arc way more animated than in manga form. Pace is good too, so you don't feel like crap watching it
