One Piece 659 gets a 10/10, Naruto 577 gets a 6/10 and Bleach 484 gets a 2/10 from me. I think Kubo tries to turn Bleach into slapstick comedy. Each week we get more white on each page, more arms get cut of, more surprise from behind attacks, more Aizen clones and less plot development. Seriously One Piece has more plot development on one page then Bleach in a whole chapter.

Naruto: To paraphrase Roger Ebert, I hated this chapter. Hated hated hated hated hated this chapter. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it.

Honestly, I don't know if it was poorly subbed or poorly written, but I understood very little of what was going on and what I did understand was stupid as hell.

Oh, and of course when it looks like they're going to come out victorious, they of course get fooled by some gay clone jutsu. Why did I expect anything different. Goddamn this manga.


Bleach: Well, props to Kubo for making a big bad that doesn't look like Aizen. Other than that, shit as usual.

Real Naruto: Neji showing remorse and trying to atone for what he did to Hinata made it for me. Seriously, the ever-loving fuck did this not happen in the other manga? Also, at first I was bothered by Hinata getting punched and pissed on, but then I realized it was symbolic of how she's figuratively pissed on in the other manga.

The villains said that in 5 days they will destroy SS. Remember back in Fake Karakura? That fight didn't even last a day in manga time, but it lasted like what? A year in real time?
So that means all those 5 days in manga time will be about 5-6 years in real time? Plus with how I think Kubo will prolong the final battle, 2 more years. And the conclusion will probably last another year. THATS how Kubo will keep Bleach running for another 10 years.

This Bleach chapter was okay compared to what we normally get (since we actually learned something), but it was still dumb.

I liked the Naruto chapter in the beginning; Kage action and Tsunade proved she could actually fight (though that was against a clone). But Itachi ruined it.

These guys can apparently move past long distances via a giant shadow....meh, Gargantas are cooler. Their ice fortress was a cool touch, but again we see another person who resembles Aizen. And who is the leader of all this?
