I'm still crossing my fingers for the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire. Because I am a horrible whore.

RSE remakes would just make my...decade. Hoenn is personally my favorite region, to see it updated to function like BW would just be awesome.
I'd won't touch RS ever agian unless they omit all those bloody required HMs.
The Honen E4 could use the re-boot,with GS/DP poke's and a character redesign, which they desperately need. And cause that's the only negative about RS I can come up with....And case the world exploring is already top-notch,as well as post-E4 gaming,it can only get better with more content.
Hey I'm looking for some people to trade me some pokemon..or at least the eggs. I was wondering is there was a specific place I could go on the forums or if I could ask here
There is a thread for B&W, I think that's the best place to ask.
I guess that makes me a horrible whore as well, as well as a few other people i know. Ruby/Sapphire MUST be remade. It is a must.
Though i really wish they'd release a bloody game that has a 2nd region in it like GOld/Silver did.
I don't think its a dead certain It'll be called 'Grey'. How many expected Diamond/Pearl & then 'Platinum' or Gold/Silver & Crystal??
i think they should release a game set in one of the old regions like kanto and have all the pokemon we already know but an entirely new story. they don't always have to have new pokemon every time

The R/S/E games were my favorites in the series personally. I agree to the line of thought that there should be an entire other region to explore like Kanto was in G/S/C. I love post-game content.
I doubt Game Freak will ever do that G/S/C method again unless it's a completely original region to that game. What money is there in putting a former region on the same game if you can just remake it later?
...I make that remark as I say I'd like to see Ruby and Sapphire remade means I'm part of the problem obviously.

Ruby and Sapphire were good I guess, but I dunno. The environment just seemed so bland.
I hated Ruby. There was something that was seriously lacking during the game's mian adventure. It could have been the enviroment, the huge amount places that required Surf to reach, or the random encounter selection being uninteresting at most.
And anyone remember Wally?
I sure don't.
Ruby and Sapphire came out in my "I'm too old for Pokémon" phase. I was, what, 12? In any case I decided I was way too old for those childish things.
After a few years I started enjoying Pokémon again and played R/S eventually, but I just did it because I couldn't stand having an incomplete game/Pokédex in my collection. Hurt gamer's pride.
Still, I was hell-bent on not enjoying R/S.
I hated the new Pokémon with a burning passion and, since first impressions are very hard to change, I still do.
After I finished the Pokédex I never touched the games again. I can't remember the names of any city or what the gyms were like - nothing. Basic story? Well, uh ...
I'd actually love to give the games a second chance. A remake would be perfect for that.
The rivals are one of my biggest complaint with RSE. May/Brenden are just so...bland. They didn't do anything to stand out aside from being Birch's kid. They didn't have a climactic final battle they just kinda give up after the last battle. Wally was just...there. You can admire that the guy gets healthy and enjoys being a trainer, but he only fought you like two times. The last battle with him is pretty cool, but he could have appeared as much as Barry did in DPP to make it more interesting.
The surfing was ridiculous and I thank the flying spaghetti monster everyday for Repels.
One thing I noticed with BW is that it is what Gamefreak wanted RSE to be: a fresh generation to get people interested. The GBA was obviously a big advancement graphically from the GBC and you can get the feel that they really took advantage with the look of the enviornment to try and use this. We now had weather, certain cutscenes(the Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza fight). While they didn't go as far as BW did, they drastically limited the amount of old Pokemon in the wild. The first Route was 101 I believe, skipping over a number of unused routes to get to that number.
They need to make the gameas far more in line with the anime. In the case of the Pokemon League - it should be just that, a competition style format, where u gotta battle ur way through for the chance to earn the rite to face the E4. Have different kinda challenges, and more towns/cities and more side quests and stuff.
The current games just suck after the E4 is all said and done. Its not much and no real point me carrying out.
