That preview was fantastic. Well, it's a tad bit overthetop, but it's good! I'm a bit dissapointed we didn't see White in the preview :( She must have gotten a minor role again.
Oops, I actually should've clarified on my post. I DID mean the possible potential the series can look with the way the promo was.
The anime has been going for a LONG time and deserves its success, as of course I got into it when I was a kid back when Pokemon was getting huge. The reason I'm a fan of the series is because of the anime.
Once Jet Pistol hits, YOUR FATE IS SEALED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still remember buying pokemon red after watching the anime. (this was before it was released in the UK. I believe the anime came about a year prior)
Didn't know it was turn based so imagine my surprise when I saw it was XD Amusingly I had a game guide which was released about a year before the games with some of the critters in Japanese and some in english. The guide was for a few GB games like Link's Awakening so....

Yeah. "Pika" means "sparkle". And "chu" is the sound mice make, squeaking. And "Rai" means "Thunder". So Pikachu and Raichu are "Sparkle squeak" an "Thunder squeak" respectively.
And Kizaru has the sparkle sparkle fruit, though it keeps getting translated as the light light fruit.
So that's why Richie's Pikachu is nicknamed Sparkie.
And that's why Mr.Sparkle is still called Mr.Sparkle in engrish in Japan.
A pika is also a species of small rodent.
