To be honest, I would rather have them do this than a filler arc or something. I do agree the pacing was pretty meh in the manga, but maybe the extra things in the anime may improve it...hopefully.

Pretty good episode this week.
There was some okay filler with a couple of the NFP dragging Zoro underwater. Neptune's Ultramarine attack looked okay, but whatever.
I didn't have a problem with the pacing during the second half.
Jinbe looked so damn wonky. Animators are still have trouble drawing him for some reason.
Also, the delayed reaction after Luffy misunderstood Franky was kinda funny. XD

And before I forget, I really liked how the ending was handled when Jinbe reveals the truth to Nami. Really great job, Toei.
