Chapter 662: Shichibukai Law vs VA Smoker

Smoker seems to lack it as well. Was it ever stated that VA's had to be able to use more than one kind of haki, or was it just any kind of haki, period? I'm starting to feel as though people like Luffy who use all three, or even just both armament and observation, are somewhat rare.

If it weren't rare, a ton of characters would have the ability to punch out Logias. That would be pretty disappointing.

People have got to stop overanalyzing Haki.
Everybody was perfectly able to dodge attacks without Haki and having CoC does not mean you will see everything coming ever. Jesus.

This sounds dumb, but here's my "Pirates of the Caribean 3" theory.

2 years ago, Law has an operation on Luffy, which he removed Luffy's heart (which explain the chest scar). Since they were on Amazon Lily and Hancock always wanted to win Luffy's heart, Law removed Luffy's heart and gave it to her. Now Hancock became Elizabeth Swan who keeps the heart in the chest, and Luffy being William Turner. Next chapter, Luffy vs Law, and Law can't do shit cuz Luffy got no heart now. And with Gear Second, i think Luffy would be fast enough to stop Law before his attacks.

I'm happy that Law isn't outright killing people. He is being a down right bastard and playing up being a villain, but it still seems like he values life.

On the three pictures under Luffy on the Bounties page, I'd guess it was an angry Garp next to Dragon and Ace. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were in the plaza in Shabondy (before Fishman Island) which I guess is where they got their pictures updated. the rest of the crew will probably have to wait to get back into civilization get new photos (unless Smoker's crew finds some way to take photos while being completely useless.)

Master mentioned that Law was only supposed to chase Smoker away and not kill him (due to unwanted suspicions at Marine HQ) which made it seem like the Master was calling the shots. The relationship between Law and Master is there but I'm looking forward to seeing the "why" behind it. Is it a willing partnership? Driven by necessity?

HAPPY shirt on the hot Harpy was a bit amusing. From her short interaction with Master it seems like she likes mischief. The way her legs are jointed is a tad creepy, albeit the bottom joint is probably just her elongated heel.

The final pages seem to imply that Law teleported Smoker, Himself, and pieces of the ship. I wonder how that would factor into his Devil Fruit ability. Law's finding of the den den in the previous chapter reminded me a bit of Chopper's Scope ability in brain point.

Luffy seems pretty happy, while Law seems very disgruntled to meet one another again hehe.

Law's ability is not at all hax, since it can be dodged. Law needed Smokey to have a blank spot ("there's some scenery you can't see"), so Smokey couldn't dodge, to be able to get Smokey's heart.

CoO and lightning speed are the keys to counter Law, and Luffy has both.

Cool chapter Law is Hax, I actually didn't care for Law before that much but I'm enjoying his character a lot in this arc.

Edit: lol just noticed Sanji poster after reading the comments, I was hoping Oda would stop joking about that XD.

Seems like even the marines see Usopp is Sogeking but his face is still kinda covered so Luffy and Chopper still won't get who the fuck he is most likelly.

i cant remember which chapter was it and i am too lazy to find it but i am sure some of you would remember it..

the chapter ended off with the boss reprimanding the photographer that maybe he did not take off his lenses while taking the pic of Sanji, but personally i found that really weird but did not really care much about it anymore till i read one piece a 2nd time and came across that chapter again, and this new bounty pic just seems to confirm it - that sanji is unable to appear in real photographs for some reason..

It really does feel like some of these people will consider haki as an explanation for damn near anything now, even simple gags. It's becoming tiring to read lol.

I doubt M is Hawkins, as one is a straw dude while the other is a liquid/gas dude. The facial features are similar though, so maybe there is some sort of connection between the two, though I wouldn't be surprised if there was nothing going on here. And I kinda figured the M stood for Master, like it says in the furigana or whatever.

Frankly, I think luffy should give law an ultimatum. Return smokers heart willingly or by force. Law comes off way too arrogant and that's reason enough for luffy to serve him a nice piece of humble pie. GOOO LUFFFY

Law looks invincible and has a super attack that looks unbeatable....but so did Crcodile, Enel, and even Smoker at one time. You have to be intimidated by the enemy if their is going to be any tension. Of course he's not unbeatable, he just has to look that way so if there is a chance he gets in a fight with Luffy, we feel tension.
