Tonight it's another hour-long crossover special with Toriko. One can only hope that this one will be better than the first.

What was wrong about the first ? I kinda....didn't watch it.

The first half was okay, but the second half degenerated into a lazy and awful ''save the damsels" (with said damsels being Komatsu and Nami) plot. Aside from maybe one or two jokes, the character interaction wasn't very interesting and there was a cameo of Sunny, Rin, and Coco that was ultimately absolutely pointless. The whole thing smacked of a marketing stunt, nothing more.

Just from the screencaps this crossover looks a lot better, or at least more engaging than the first one. The art direction and storyboarding for Tate's half looks great...except for that campfire shot. That's...really terrible-looking, even for a distance shot.
