I don't get why Sanji started to pick a fight with that Sunny guy. Seemed a bit forced to me. I forget, did they meet during the previous crossover special?

EDIT: Finished watching, decent, nothing more, and the animation was very wonky at times.

Finally watched it in all its glory.

Part 1 has some nice Tate animation, though there are some very strange poses at times

I liked that there was more of a real conflict here involving Chopper's illness, even if the plot gets more ridiculous as the special goes on. Luffy has some very strange poses and facial expressions, though I can't help bit to love the animated but where Luffy is grabbed by the tentacle and sprayed with a torrent of water as well as some of the child-like drawings that made up the animation. Also Zoro vs Kung Fu Panda was more entertaining than it had any right to be. However, it is missing Toriko making celebration out of eating a pile of poo like in the first (easily the funniest and most memorable part of the special)

Part 2 can be summed up in two words: Mush Room. An extremely silly second half though I was glad that it seemed that Toriko's friends (the names escape me) had more of a significant role in this special, even if it was mostly superficial. Can't go wrong when the primary foe is a drunken orangutan fiercely defending his precious booze. Add to that some pretty slick animation in the second half.

Honestly learned nothing new about Toriko this time around except for the added existence of Zebra. Curious as to what Toriko fans think of this.

I see the other heavenly kings more as friendly rivals to Toriko however some of them got added in because Luffy has crew with him.

But why did sunny-go appeared randomly from the sky each quarter of an hour.... We need to get to the top of the Island... Coup d'burst. We need to appear with impact so that Luffy's random introduction look less random... Coup d burst...WTF?...

The animation was okay at best, but the character designs and facial features were pretty bad at some parts.
