Yup, sideways Wiimotes. I think I saw at least one person with a classic controller too.

Hm, okay. At least to start with I imagine most players would prefer using the Wiimotes and traditional controllers instead of the tablet.

Still, it's always nice to see 2D spritework in this era of HD gaming.

HD's got nothing to do with being 2D or 3D. I do kind of agree that having a 2D game every once in a while is pretty refreshing though. I never really cared for Rayman though so this doesn't excite me as much as others here.

Its pretty much expected. Hell I think Bethesda fans buy it because of the glitches and bugs (considering they were defending the hell out of them when the PS3 one was released)

It's definitely not because of the massive world and nearly unlimited amount of things to do. No, it's definitely the bugs. My God this conversation is stupid.

Oblivion had to be the least fucked up game Bethesda put out for the PS3 once Fallout 3/NV & Skyrim came out all hell broke loose.

    It's not that farfetched.

No. I have honestly seen people defending the game because of the glitches.

I remember in in Fallout NV there was a train tunnel that had a area, inside, that I couldn't go into I'd approach the door entrance of the room and fall through the floor and wind up at the part of the tunnel I entered at.

in fallout 3 during the last mission with the robot, every character except me became idle (robot included) and when i left the city there was nothing but a blank, texture less, brown, stretch of land. No trees, enemies, buildings (except for the city) and whenever a hill did appear i could walk through it. Glitchy

It took me several tries on my 360 to get through the final mission on Fallout 3 without the game freezing. Awesome mission, but still. Haven't tried out FONV yet.

The very first enemy I decapitated in Fallout 3 saw the head turn into a 30ft tall red pyramid. It set the tone perfectly.

Didn't expect this thread to become "Let's discuss Bethesda's inability to makes games that don't have terrible glitches/bugs discussion thread".

Yeah, it's a waste of time, every one of their buggy disasters get praised so it's not like they have any reason to learn and get better at fucking game design.

Now, the only Bethesda game I have had any experience with is Skyrim and I have experienced very little bugs in that game, and the ones I did experience were easily fixable. Of course I was playing on PC. I'm not saying that they shouldn't try and make less buggy games, but they were primarily a PC developer before Oblivion, where bugs are much easier to handle and fix. I understand that this forum is more partial to linear RPGs/beat em ups where it's easy to find and fix bugs, but jumping on a company that makes games with massive worlds because they can't find and fix every single bug in their game that's pushing 6 year old hardware is a little harsh.

It's not harsh at all. Them having a huge open-world with tons of shit to do is no excuse for them to be sloppy, and I can't believe you'd even try to use that as an argument.

As long as they fix the majority of them up at some point, it's fine for me. I usually wait for the GOTY version though anyway. I would get onto them for any obvious bugs, but most Bethesda games are naturally going to have more bugs than more linear ones where there's less room to mess up.

They have an incredibly amount of stuff going on and interacting that it's unrealistic to expect them to find all the bugs in the game. Even then, like I said, I ran into a very small amount of bugs in Skyrim. I'm not some great fan of Bethesda but I appreciate the complexity of all the stuff they have to do and can cut them some slack because of it.

And I don't see you harping on any other games that come out buggy, besides Bethesda ones.

I've never really played any as buggy as Bethesda. I'm not trying to hate on them, it's just annoying that they don't seem to be learning.
