Clank won't be his own character, if that were true so would Daxter. Tuesday needs to get here fast. Gamescom they are supposed to reveal 3-4 characters.

Clockw0rk the community manager at SB said the only Tekken characters in the game are Heihachi and Kuma which is art of his super. So either the site was hacked or those were very early placeholder type images.

For those of you who see themselves getting this game, who do you think you'd main from what you know so far?

In the event I get to play this, I can see myself maining Spike. Love Ape Escape, and I'm glad to see his gadgets being prominent.
That said, I have yet to see Sir Daniel.

I love Ape escape and Sack boy is cool, but the Big Daddy (which doesn't make sense) and this new Dante are a major deterrent. Rant ahead.

For those of you who see themselves getting this game, who do you think you'd main from what you know so far?

Of the revealed characters so far none, but im pretty sure im gonna main raiden since hes easily my favorite out of whos in as of now.

Sony really had no say in that matter since vivendi universal never decided to renew their publishing deal with sony and decided to make crash multiplatform which made him end up where he is today. If anyone is to blame its activision, because im sure superbot probably tried the best the could to get those guys in, but its assumed they probably werent receptive to the whole idea.

This. SuperBot has been extremely receptive to the feedback of the fans and it seems that effort really went into getting even classic characters from the PSOne era (as Sir Daniel goes to show).

Why Tameem's Dante? Isn't dmc coming out later than this game? I suppose he is added to advertise dmc, but wouldn't the original Dante make more sense?
Then again, I am going to assume this game isn't fully intended as a tribute to classic playstation(2) games such as like the original Devil May Cry titles (it does in some aspects such as by adding some PSX characters, but that doesn't seem to be its focal point). Otherwise we wouldn't nearly all of the cast members.

He had several gadgets. The net was the main one to actually catch those monkeys, but the other ones were just as useful. PASBR seems to have included the helicopter gadget, the RC car, slingshot, and a lot of the lightsaber. Frankly, I'm psyched, loved this game as a kid.

He doesn't turn into 'real' Dante. That's just his super form, which just gives him white hair and have his jacket glow red.

They gave up Spyro and Crash because they felt they had no where else to go with the series. It led them to Jax and Uncharted, both of which have been quite successful. It sucks, I agree, but we can't really do anything about it. Lara Croft, even, is currently owned by Square Enix, so unless Square wants to offer Lara (and hopefully a Final Fantasy character), we're basically fucked.

And you're right about the Big Daddies. Not much we can do about that. They should have just put Alpha in the game though. ....Then again, majority of people hate Bioshock 2 and the Bouncer is far more memorable in the series.
