Chapter 665: "Candy"

I'm hoping this will be a Chopper heavy arc myself. Unlike Hogback and his Zombies, this is something that Chopper must dive into completely as the issue isn't Devil Fruit related and the patients aren't already dead. Seeing him get so emotional gives me hope that Chopper will be the MVP this arc. Oh how I would love for Chopper to take at least one swing to Caeser and connecting with him. If only because Chopper already has a personal grudge against this doctor abusing his duties and maybe to see if he has Haki or not.

This arc didn't seem like it would last too long, but now we could be in for a long wait before everything is said and done. I could certainly see our 6th person chapter emerging from this and even Smoker getting one step closer to Admiral status after rescuing the children and smoking out the Joker from G5.

Then we have Law's crew who are certainly wrapped up in all this, so we will probably be here for a while. Hope something takes place at the fire side once again.

Really interested to see how Sanji is going to handle himself in Nami's body. His Shadow did well as Denguin, but I can't imagine Nami could even withstand her own powerful kicks, not to mention she is no where near as flexible as Sanji. He could do his splits and pull a muscle! Hahaha not going to happen though, too much of a realistic, unnecessary issue.

I agree to the extent that Chopper should take the "MVP" for this arc but having him connect a blow to CC is quite a stretch, IMO. CC must have Haki himself, for 2 reasons:

- this is the New World and most notorious pirates have haki: think of what Pekoms said about logias when he took out Caribou (or is it Coribou??)
- If he didn't have haki, Law would have already taken action against him, IMO.

Whatever happens in this arc, you can be assured that it will be the Straw Hats that will save the day: this includes rescuing the children and Smoker's heart, changing the 4 with changed personalities, defeating CC and helping Law with whatever the reason he's there "working" with CC. Ofc, It will be Smoker who takes the "blame" for this ...

Judging by Law's expressions (think of Hachi when he was asking the Straw Hats to "not do a single thing" against the Tenryuubito (SP?), even if someone were to be shot right in front of them), and the fact that we have yet to see Law's crew, it stands to reason the 2 are connected.

But he has a bounty. Because of the way Law handled Smoker, i'm pretty sure Law would lose to CC if he were to fight him now.

Again, judging by Law's facial expressions, i'm 100% sure he's working with CC against his will.

Law said so himself: "We both have things we want to get back". The fact that his crew is nowhere to be seen leads most of us to believe that CC did something to them as that's why he's cooperating with CC.

What was shown thus far leads me to conclude Law wouldn't work with CC if he had a choice.

Which means Law definitely needs Caesar for something OR Caesar is stronger than Smoker OR Caesar knows about Law's DF weaknesses from studying w/ Vegapunk. Law hated working with Kid at the auction house, of all of the SNs Law/Kid/Luffy were the ones least likely to help someone to the detriment of their search for One Piece

Akainu is in a different league from Smoker. We saw Akainu handle BOTH Marco and Vista's haki in the war.

Well, there is the theory that Vista´s and Marco´s Busoshoku wasn´t strong enough for Akainu´s Haki, since we already know that there are several different levels of Haki, i think that the panel above could explain that. Same goes for WB against Aokiji and Kizaru, but for him it was because of his old age.

yeah i can understand that. with the power of BB, once he caught Megellon then its time for him to get fucked. Anyway i thought the only prisoners escaped are the ones that joined BB? are all lvl6 prisoners escaped? that just gon be fucked up. Anyway i think that it would be cooler if Megellon manages to go out to the sea to capture those prisoners back based on his personality.

And this arc continues to get better and better. So much stuff packed in this chapter, and I would not mind if Chopper did get some attention this time around as what it seems to be the case.

What I am confused about is if these Yetti Cool Brothers defeated Zoro's group or if they were taken down by the cold or something else. I can see Brook and Sanji in Nami's weaker body being defeated, but I'd be disappointed if these guys were stronger than Zoro currently.

I've always enjoyed seeing the full ramifications of events slowly being revealed in this series; this arc is truly back in form.

No, I'm pretty sure there were only the four winners; maybe a secret fifth who did his own thing could be introduced, but for the most part, whoever escaped on their own had feigned death.

I personally think Law's crew was kidnapped or poisoned and Law is cooperating with CC now because of it.
