Good chapter besides the cover... I really wasn't expecting Oda to do this with Magellan, I though he would go after the prisioners, unless he got his fruit taken by BB(which I'm assuming he did) I really am pissed that Oda did this to a great character.

Considering that Shiliew and the others weren't even sure that the DF extraction would work and were ready to leave Blackbeard, they certainly didn't take Magellan's power.

yeah, but that doesn't he's know inmune to doping or drugs. G2 is comparing to doping becuase both enhance your physical condition through an artificail way, since G2 doesn't share the secondary effects of doping the comparison ends there.

Good thing about speculation is it's neither right or wrong till information is provided. This is speculation since I am not saying its certain - I think you're right though - FI making the drug effected candy is probably wrong - but supplying candy to be altered is possible.
Especially if Big Mom wants these kids developed into some kind of army?

I don't think they would've let him go after the prisoners anyway, and remember when BB wanted to take WB's fruit they weren't sure it will work which means he hasn't tried it before.
But the demotion is strange and so it may have come from Akainu himself as punishment for letting the prisoners escape.

It's also strange how his body parts are right now. If his horns weren't real then why didn't he just replaced them with new ones rather than these Usopp-like fixes.

I doubt Akainu can demote Magellan, since he is not part of the Marines. If anyone demoted him (and if it wasn't Magellan who demoted himself), it would be Kong. No need for the Gorosei to deal with his demotion.

Personally I think it seems to be more of a theme (sweets, candy in general) rather then an actual plot link. Very doubtful that Caesar would need to be supplied with something as trifle as candy by outside sources,
and knowledge of as well as access to high grade chemicals like this also seems to be scientist rather than fishmen domain. He is experimenting after all, as a scientists you wouldn't want to have to rely on outside supplier for pharmaceuticals, it makes for unnecessary variables.

What do you expect him to do?

He could turn from villain henchmen to tragic anti-hero by going against CC and getting smacked down, making him sympathetic.
Or he could provide some useful information to Strawhats or marines.

A fun chapter. Robin made me chuckle but she wasn't drawn particularly well this chaper. Chopper's outrage is nice and it works surprisingly well with Sanji's face. The Yeti brothers look interesting but I doubt they took out the three of them in a fight because I can't imagine they'd be strong enough to take out Zorro, my first instinct was that they used knock out gas again but honestly I hope it's a little more interesting than that.

Can't wait for the next chapter mostly because I've got a great feeling about Kinemon (I'm calling him that til we get confirmation otherwise) is gonna get back together and have a kickass introduction!

So yes he could make his own - or he could treat some premade ones with his experiments.
Also lends itself to not being pre-made if the experiments are still happening - obviously at this stage it is just ensuring they have production in place to create the candy to specifications once the experimenting is complete. Kind of makes sense that way, you wouldn't want to have to wait after completing your experiment till you could mass produce.

I completely agree - I think that Fishmen and Neptune knowlingly producing Drugged Candy is a bit far - although they did seem rather upset about the arrangement with big Mom.
But the supply factor is more likely in general.

I think the "candy" is not what's making the kids grow in size and strength. The candy is just a stimulant drug that Chopper has knowledge of. It is to make the kids addicted and won't be able to survive without CC's candy supply so he can keep on experimenting on them. Experiments that is making them big and stronger.

That's what we're all discussing - it's most likely the Candy is treated to be the drug.
We're speculating if the source of the Candy could be Fishmen Island among others supplying Big Mom - who might be working with Ceaser Clown.

But Big Mom just wants the candy to eat. That's what she says anyway. I highly doubt there's a link with that candy and CC's candy. CC just coated the substance with candy because he's dealing with kids and they like candy. I think that's the only reason. Don't need to make unnecessary links.
