Volume 67 prediction thread

I have one question that has made me curious for a long time.

Why does Shueisha put 10, 11 or 12 chapters in the volumes of their best-selling manga? Since the price doesn't change with the page number, they would make a lot of extra money if they put only 9 chapters every volume. Most series have all volumes besides the first with9 chapters (Toriko, Bakuman and Kuroko no Basuke are good examples). If they did that to One Piece from the start, we would have 74 volumes now, and that would mean a few million extra volumes sold.

In the past, including volume 63, Oda has stated that he specifically ask that the large volumes end on specific chapters. In vol. 63 Oda apologizes to the reader for not having the interview with Brook's voice actor because he wanted to squeeze in another chapter. So I guess these are Oda's choices, which Shueisha complies with and not Shueisha making the decisions.

Yes, because unlike most of the other mangakas (Kubo for example), Oda doesn't just care about money, he only cares for his fans! In a SBS he even said that he is sad about the fact that OP has so many volumes that children can't afford it, so he made a website with story recaps and all sorts of things for children and other fans who want to catch up to the story but can't buy the volumes.
That's our Oda, and that's what I apreciate about him the most! That's the spirit one as a mangaka should have!

Reeaally hoping we get the cover from Shueisha in the next week of two..
If I remember correctly 65 and 66 were out close to or just after the 20th of the month, and It'd be a nice surprise to get it next week when there's no chapter so we at least get something OP related..

Naruto's new cover can already be find...it's just a matter of days now.

that's because naruto volume 61 comes out like a week before one piece's new volume.

Nope, i was waiting for mangateers to submit naruto´s raw chapter since it´s having the SJ cover this week, so we´d have a miniature of the volume 67 there. But they didn´t submit anything yet, which is weird. They should have submitted it like 9 hours ago ;___;

It was said it has 232 pages, so it´s either 11 or 12 chapters ^u^. Can´t wait, too excited for the color schemes of the cover, and the kiddies we might see on the sbs ♥♥♥
