Being in a woman's body doesn't stop Sanji from thinking like a man.
Sanji is pretty much doomed to be a liability until all the swapped Strawhats meet Law again. He can't use kicks properly because Nami's body is too fragile and he can't use the Clima-Tact because he's not knowledgeable enough about the weather.
No way would Sanji's strenght carry over it is a phsiycal aspect that took years of training to acchieve, not a will-based ability like haki. For it to 'carry over' would cheapen Sanji's years of training. Yes, he use martial arts in Nami's body and as such do things she would not be able to do, but he would not have the same affect as if he was in his own body. That said, since the 'sky walk' thing does seem to be a will-based ability he I think Sanji can do that.
No Sanji would not make an expection to Monet's being a woman. Don't forget that after Sanji fought Wanze, he encountered Kalifa, he blocked her kicks but did not really fight her, refused to hit her and Nami had to take on Kalifa because Sanji's instance not to fight a woman got his ass kicked.
Ageed while in Nami's body his martial arts is down to an average person's ability due to Nami's body not having the same strenght as his. When I say 'average person' I mean just that, any person, not the average person with normal strenght who has studied martial arts. Because Nami hasn't done that and hasn't developed those muscles.
I would like to consider that him being a male in a female body is also a liabity...and not due his perversion. A man's sense of balance is higher than a woman's is. Also consider that women have a different gait when walk/runing than men due to hips are wider. It does affect how we walk, esp if have really 'big hips'. Just look at a scetch of skeletons, the female's legs form a triangular shape (hence the swaying hips) while men's are striaghter.
I said "I would to like to" but as this is manga it falls under "cartoon physics" so it's not an issue as we already seen. But think if the hilairty if it was! I, for one, would have a laugh if they spent a few moments stumbbling around grumbling about "what the hell did he do to my sence of balance?" Or when Sanji tried to do a head stand while kicking and messing up?

I have the feeling that they didn't need Law to swap their body back to normal. And Luffy probably know how but is just amusing himself.
Signature?...Don't have one.
Forgive me if this has already been mentioned.
It just occurred to me that maybe the Gas Gas Fruit is not in CC's body, but in his cloak!
The way he is drawn, constantly robed in gas makes me think this. It would be interesting if he knew of a way to take direct control of the Gas Gas Fruit's powers for himself, even if he hasn't consumed the fruit. Perhaps he learned this from Vegapunk?
I think it would make him a particularly formidable enemy - in a fight against someone who doesn't know better, he could fake his death by falling into the water.
What if the cloak "consumes" him when he puts it on, and since his willpower is stronger than the cloak's - the cloak shouldn't be sentient, right? - he takes control of the powers.
This might belong in the devil fruit discussion thread, but it would be interesting if "consuming" the fruit simply meant putting it inside you. An object could easily be made to consume a fruit by building pieces of the fruit (or the whole fruit) into it. I know that it is a little backwards to think of the fruit object then "consuming" a person, upon which the person gets the powers, but it might be worth thinking about.
Dunno, think it might be an interesting twist. Any thoughts?
Again, sorry if it has already been mentioned.
I re-read your comment several times tryign to see if I misunderstood you. Maybe its a misundertanding of each other, talking about two different scenarios, yours abotu if the two genders had same time training will be equal, I agree.
My scenario is not that, but simple bodyswap with different gender as Sanji has experienced in Nami's body.
I see maybe I wasn't clear on what I ment when I said a man suddenly in a woman's body would have a liablity. I certainly didn't mean it to sound sexist, as I'm a woman. Perhaps I should have added that the same applies to a woman suddenly finding herslef in a man's body.
I was refering to if we really could consider real-world facts, then when he was switched into a woman's body he would not be accustomed to the difference of the center of balance as the men's sence of balance is located higher than women. A man's sense of balance is centered in the belly button area while a woman's is in her hips, therefore even if a man and a woman are same height, the man's sense of balance is higher than hers. The sense of balance is important to everything from walking, running and doing headstands.
That is what I ment. IF real world facts were a consideration (I alredy admitted they are not) then sudden change of the sense of balance would throw the person off and affect their ability to fight while they adjust being in a new body.
Does that clairify things?
Edit- tried to re-type to clarify comments, thoughts went off point at one point

Yeah, sorry. I didn't realize you meant Sanji specifically. I agree, he wouldn't be able to fight as well, for sure.
However, he DOES seem to be coping VERY well with the bodyswap. It might be the newkama influence.
snamjis gunna boob flash the yeti brothers than okama kenpo them
I still don't understand the fascination with Brownbeard that people developed...He was just some fodder that got beat up to me, I didn't think he was developed enough for me to care either way about him.
Also was Sanji the strongest of the swapped group? It's kinda hard for me to tell what the rankings would be, mostly because I considered Franky to be very strong.
At any rate, now that I've read some more comments, and thought it over. Sanji kinda has been fairly subpar in usefulness to be set up for the gag points it seems. I do agree that Sanji probably won't be able to fight in Nami's body since he should be a bit thrown off. I imagine it'd be like when I drunk too much and tried walking over odd terrain. It feels so odd, everything feels a little to the left of where I normally feel my center of balance is.
I don't think its a 'caring' sense of attachment to his character as much as it is pity for his plight. When I saw those few panels before he got shot, I could sense the dread of betrayal in Brownbeard's face. The guy may have been twisted and evil himself, but being stabbed in the back by someone you looked up to hurts all the same.

The era of Whitebeard is over. The time of Brownbeard, has come.
I hope we get an explanation as to what Law is doing on the island ASAP.
