Is this discussion rly about wether Franky belongs to the monster trio because he did blast open a door with a laser beam?...
Well, having such an advanced technologie in his body sure would attrack a SCIENCE guy like ceasar, but that would also count for pacifistas which we know are nowadays no match for the monster trio.
Iam personally no fan of the monster trio -thingy, but afterall Oda himself called them like that and it was obvious that those three(for now) will be able to use haki.
The epic battle of BusterCall vs. Don is decided !!!
And the results are 3:2 for Don..
This chapter unveiled the God-Warrior

-Law's interest in the Strawhat
-Nami's worried look at whoever Law proposed
-Luffy's genuinely gleeful look
these are my points...You could even use the idea of why would Law backstab Luffy and why would that be worrisome.
Now I'm injecting my own thought process into this so bear with me. What if the notion of the backstabbing has to do with Law wanting to kill Shanks, thereby violating what Luffy wants to do? Luffy trusts his crew to take care of things while he takes on Shanks himself.
This is a very far fetched theory, but if you wanna go the route of "no proof!" then remember this is all speculation.
Great chapter!
And Luffy is a clever man... just look at the chapter!
"Are you going to betray us?"
"No."
Problem solved.![]()
Strawheart pirates... I like it.
Logia monster... not really.

Dude, if there's "NO" proof that it's Big Mom ,there's even less proof that it's Shanks.
Haven't Law and CC already referenced her when talking about "Candy"? aside from this minor convo ,lets use abit of logic,it can't possibly be Teach since he has an Aura of endgame surrounding him. Kaidou seems like any confrontation with him will come through Drake's development. Finally with Shanks I feel like along with Teach he will be either Luffy's final encounter or further motivation to take down BB [[maybe Teach defeats him down the line ?]]
Either way I think we'll know who it is by the end of the Arc.

lemme just take a closer look... if I take a while to edit this it's because I either died laughing and then somehow haunted the computer to reply, or I couldn't stop staring . o .
EDIT (wow that was fast for some reason) - that doesn't look like suppressed anger to me...

all that comes to mind is...
'DOKIDOKIDOKI'
DAMN ME
DAAAAHH
oh well.
Thou shalt be ended in the name of the League of zachri and the Lawfare army.
Oh man. Why do Oda always like to keep us hanging and create a frantic speculation war within their fans? Which is what is happening here.
I agree. Honestly, if put in Laws position of knowing that there is a relationship, most likely a positive one between Shanks and Luffy would you make the gamble of asking Luffy to fight him? Law is a thinkin' man. He wouldn't do that.
Also Shanks is clearly setup to be one of the series "closing" characters. Someone who will have a major effect on the last couple of arcs of the story. To bring him into the light now would be a blunder on Oda's part.
Nami reacted the way she did because... that's how Nami always reacts. She never fully expects Luffy's recklessness until it happens.
Would Usopp fight his father? He idolizes his father much in the same way that Luffy idolizes Shanks, not gonna happen.
At the end of the day it's most likely BM. She has already been introduced, Luffy has a clear motive to defeat her, and we already have a rough timeline.

As for the Haki portion... yay. It's finally confirmed that Zoro and Sanji have at least one type of Haki. CoA. They most likely have CoO too but hey.
Also I don't want Zoro or Sanji or anyone in the SH for that matter to have CoC. It's 1/1,000,000. CoC is present in people who are leaders, people with great will. While every SH has great will, not all of them are leaders. CoC should be reserved for Luffy and Luffy alone.
Ooh, I didn't even notice that this is the coverstory's last part. I guess we won't be seeing anyone else/they're in the new world?
Things I want so bad:
1) to be right about the whole Law and his weakness to cute things which he attempts to hide < u > cause yknow.
ol' zach MUST suggest such ridiculous typically fangirlish stuff
DEAL WITH IT.
2) SHUSHU.
ALL
HAIL
SHUSHUUUUUUUUU
< O >
...dear god someone help me I'm being brain washed @ A @
3) Apoo having an air ship.
Cause that'd just be
well
epic.

It really is a genius panel, that panel and the inability to hear what Yonkou it is makes this chapter great by themselves.
Anyone else think Magellan-esque ability when they saw the Slime? I was like wtf is Magellan doing then I realized he was at ID. Now all I want is CC defeated so we can know Law's plans.
Big Mam interrupts the plan to take down Kaidou after this current arc AND Doflamingo is taken down by more than one person (Luffy/Law, Big 3, ect)
Allow me to roll about in all these loltruffles at your antics and wait for the next 15 minutes to pass by so then I can head home and then get nagged by the mother to get thine behind outside into the hot hot sun @ A @

I kinda already discussed here about my thoughts about Luffy's reaction
http://www.apforums.net/showthread.p...=1#post2584629
If you think about it, what did Law actually say?
http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/667/19
He said "take down". Barring the translation, this is a general way of saying killing the target. However, Luffy could take it as just beating them. Of course Law probably wants to kill whoever he is targeting, but Luffy just wants to beat Shanks.
What does this generate? A conflict of interest that isn't pronounce to Luffy quite yet. Once it is established what Law's intentions are, I'm sure Luffy will disagree and then fight Law. However, until that is made clear in the confrontation, Luffy will be acting like Law and he are just gonna beat Shanks and that's it.
Now onto the matter of why Luffy would want to attack Shanks.
-to prove he's surpassed Shanks
-to return the hat
-to see his rival again
You have to remember, Luffy is a pirate. He has always respected Shanks and idolized him, but he also called themselves rivals. Luffy wants to beat Shanks and prove to him that he's the better pirate. Just because he worships the ground Shanks walks on doesn't mean he doesn't want to beat him to a pulp in a fair fight, even if that means being a little dirty-handed like a team up, but that is what a true pirate does. Luffy will use Law's help until he gets to the plateau where Shanks is, that's when all bets are off.
I'm on the Shanks train cho-cho baby!
Judging from Nami's reaction, I'm really leaning towards it not being Big Mom. If it were Shanks, that would explain her reaction and Luffy's immediate joyous reaction because he's finally going to get the chance to prove himself. He also gets to return the straw hat, which in return would mean he has become a great pirate.
I can already picture Garp's reaction to finding out Luffy went after Shanks.
Although, it may be unlikely, it's got a better chance than Kaidou or Blackbeard. Pretty much rules them out to be honest.
Also the "gleeful" look Luffy had could just stem from the fact that the faster he takes out Big Mom ,the faster Jinbe joins the crew.
I'm just saying there are billions of possibilities for why he was Gleeful at Laws answer.
