I liked the chapter, what the hell is that on Welgo face? it looks weird, Oda could have designed him without that, he looks like Kizaru to me for some reason.

Loved this chapter! My first instinct about Welgo was that he looks like strawberry (albeit minus the crazy hair) I'm not sayin that their brothers or the same person but they do look similar. Also Kinemon, I love that guy I really do.

You guys forgot smth ... gas gas - no mi doesn't have to be visible ... for example natural methane gas is invisible to the naked eye so ofc to everyone would seem like they got owned in an instant but what actually makes sense is that he used sleeping gas on them , they didn't even bleed, they were just out and luffy might be immune to poisons but he definitely isn't immune to sleeping gas, a simple yet very efficient way to win. Also CC was Vegapunk's disciple so he ain't stupid he uses his brain to fight and asses situations. What i wonder is if that on Welgo's face is a cookie ... that was my first thought when i read the manga linking him directly to Big mom as one of her 'admiral class' fighters also the glasses he's wearing are for sun like the ones Pekoms and Tamago had.

Good chapter this week.

-The coverpage is funny.
-Wergo is the name of the guy, good no stalling with this. All these mystery names, too, little hard to speculate about anything.
-Mone is a spy. Okay.
-Everyone at the entrance of the lab is unconscious. [cue whining about how useless Robin even when everyone else, who are a lot stronger, are also out.] Yeah, no.
I've been okay with taking out the girls because since their respective arcs because they mostly get out of trouble by themselves in the end(like Nami taking out Absalom by herself in the end, even if it was with Sanji's help or even in movie 10 constantly working against Shiki), have a good reason to be incapable of doing stuff by themselves(Nami being in Franky's body) or are taken out together with everyone else(like in Thriller Bark, Sabaody or in this chapter). It's been fairly decently and carefully handled, better than taking the very obvious easy way out of just making them useless.
-It also seems that Ceasar clearly took them all out with gas, like Luffy, so that's okay.
-Ceasar shows some competence as a villain, nice. He's been doing fairly fine with that considering he's insane and also those fancy villains speeches.
-Sanji kicking some ass this chapter using haki and Sky Walk in Nami's body, I'd say this also demonstrates that Nami isn't that weak.
-I like the samurai, he's very dedicated to his family and has a very interesting fighting style, seems like this is indeed leading up to Wano.

It felt kind of padded out at points, but it was a good chapter, this arc is continuing to be pretty awesome overall.

We already knew Sanji and Zoro had CoO and Luffy said they had CoA. Does nobody remember that everyone has the potential for CoO and CoA. The G5 marines made it sound like CC had CoC, which would be stupid because he's not even worth mentioning pre-TS like his colleague Vegapunk. Kinemon's style is the ability to cut fire, which is cool and means he's very strong. He got beat by Law because 2 reasons 1) Law has haki & Kinemon doesn't 2) Kinemon can cut fire and Law isn't Ace or Marco. Didn't notice the meat stuck to Welgo's face, I'm guessing it's a DF power? Weird. Zoro and Brook were hilarious and I'm expecting a Nami's body fail soon from overextertion. I really want to know how everyone after Luffy was beaten foremost, then who the fvck Welgo/Virgo/Vergo is.

People need to realize that just because the Straw Hat's had 2 years training, doesn't mean they're invincible. They're in the New World. They will encounter stronger foes. If they wiped the floor with every villain (ala Fishman Island) for the rest of the series, there'd be no tension, no point to the story.

I think it's perfectly acceptable that they were taken out by a Logia who uses poisonous gas.
