I think the 27th of July and 3rd of August are supposed to have a bunch of new episodes from other shows. Phineas and Ferb have an hour long episode on one of those days (I think that's what the ad said) and Generic Tween Comedies #7957 and #7960 are probably the others.

A two week gap because of other shows isn't nowhere near as bad as Cartoon Network's scheduling. "Hoped you like that handful of Young Justice episodes; see you at the end of September!"

    Spoiler:

Was an okay episode. Honestly it's probably my least favorite of the batch so far. I loved the Baba jokes, but other than that I didn't feel like there were many laughs this episode, and that could have been okay, but it didn't advance the overall plot either.

It kinda felt like an after school special. Especially with the forced moral at the end.

Anyway, the cypher at the end reads:
Mr. Caesarian will be out next week. Mr. Atbash will substitute.

Does anyone have any clue what that could mean?
    Spoiler:
I think they are both cipher codes. Here are wikipedia articles on both the Caesar cipher and Atbash cipher:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesar_cipher
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atbash

Maybe they're saying look at some stuff through that? I dunno.
Edit: I get it. For episode 7, the Atbash cipher will be used instead of the Caesar Cipher, which they used up to this point.

    Nice deduction!
I like that they're putting so much work into the messages. Hopefully the one in episode 7 will be important to things.

Its funny, episode 6 has the same problems for me as episode 2 and 3. If its not the overarching plot, the show isn't nearly as good. The book based storylines seem to have the best hook and the most effort put into them.

I didn't like this epside. Mainly because it didn't follow the "monster of the week" format very well. Fear and mystery is one of the show's selling points. This one felt very out of character and boring. That, and you know an episode is bad when there's a montage.

The very first episode had a montage, LOL.

Still have to watch episode 6 but I really liked this show. It has this good feel when I watch it. I simply like the main cast.

Anyway, Chamba did fanart of it already.

New episode, "Dipper vs. Manliness", was hilarious. So many quote-worthy things. Someone needs to make "Looks like you've got... emotional problems *hair flows through the wind*" into a .gif. Lots of little giggles along the way, then it suckerpunches you when the multi-bear listens to the Icelandic pop sensation and Dipper sings along instead of killing him.
    Too funny.

Really liked it and I liked the moral of it at the end of how he was "his own man" even though he didn't clear all 99 recipe trials of Kamabakka Kingdom 50 trials of manhood.

Oh, man, this is one of the man reasons I love this forum. Without you guys I never would've found this show. I must admit, it is awesome. Impresses me more each episodes. Gives me another reason besides Phineas and Ferb to actually turn on the Disney channel.

Also, "Llamas are nature's warriors." LMAO! Best quote of all time.

Watched episode 6 and I have to agree, even though it was funny it felt out. I guess the plot is really good and when it doesn't happen at all, it's just a plain funny show.

I loved episode six! Dipper is my favorite of the main cast so seeing a hilarious episode starring him was great. It was so quote-worthy moments and the names were hysterical.

    "I smell...emotional issues."

This show is right up my alley. Incredible!

Best episode yet. I laughed out loud plenty of times throughout. I love the main cast. All of them. The Mystery Shack gang were all given great moments, from Grunkle Stan's pricing his event as "free?" to Soos shouting that he would never stop being distracted to Mabel finding her people. Of course Dipper stole the show on this one, seeing as half of this episode's characters were him. I loved how he played off of himself. That moment where he prepares his own capture (down to leaving him with resources to survive) followed by him noticing his escape all too late. Tons of great material tonight.

Looks like next week will give us some background story, so I'm highly anticipating that.

I downloaded this episode yesterday and was waiting to talk about it after the release.

Loved it. New favorite. All the side characters stood out the entire episode. And Soos as the DJ? Priceless.

Missed the regular airing, but I just finished watching it on demand. Yep, pretty darn good episode. I loved Dipper's fantasies about Wendy. And "Don't Start Un-believing."

    This episode was so amazing.

    My favorite part:
"It's better this way for Paper Jam Dipper..."

    It was so depressingly hilarious.

The code at the end this week says:

    "Paper Jam Dipper says: 'Auughwxqhgadsadph!'"

Great episode, but it still can't beat The Inconveniencing for me. ^__^

    Highlights/Thoughts:
    Spoiler:
    So that's why he's called Dipper. o_0

"It's me, you. I just had the same jealousy fantasy"

Anyone caught that Wendy was Dan's (the lumberjack) daughter? I've heard people mention hints of it in previous episodes but it only became obvious for me when Wendy showed us her wallet photo

    NOOOOOOOOOO TYROOOONE

I really want to see Mabel's new friends as recurring characters

Anyone knows how long they'll be using the new cipher (Atbash) for?

The new episode "Irrational Treasure" is on demand and probably online.

And I think it may just be the best episode yet.

    Spoiler:

First and foremost, I loved that they brought Pacifica back, and the cameo by Lil Gideon was great.

Also, we get further world building! Who is the mysterious man calling the shots? What is Dipper going to use that key for? Are there any locks he has come across so far in the series?

Also, how about the amazing Doctor Who reference?

Also, once the episode airs I have my new sig (though much smaller)
    Hidden:

Finally, the code (still in Atbash) is:
    Spoiler:

    E.Pluribus Trembley

So in short: Good world building + great humour + a Doctor Who reference = my favorite episode yet.
