The idea of Doflamingo as Joker was completely perfect but considering all the mysteries in the NW, people got mad because Doflamingo was brought up as the missing link to lots of things. Still looking at his role as a puppet master and his sphere of influence makes this revelation only shocking because people were getting annoyed at the idea. I am biased because along with Kid, Shanks, and Blackbeard he's one of my favorite non-SH characters.

Also, I somehow forgot to mention this in my initial post, but Tashigi's quite the sleuth. Her hunch about there being a traitor in G-5 was right on the money. Also, the traitor being the top dog of G-5 is the worst possible outcome, so I can definitely understand why she's so conflicted. I also enjoyed the townspeople asking for Tashigi because she's compassionate and a good listener. It's too bad they have the exact opposite of that "helping" them out...

At first this whole arc seemed like a rushed way to incorporate cliches (body swapping?!?! REALLY?!! although it is hilarious) with only a few cool things (dragons and the whole fire/ice island). But now that this Doflamingo nonsense has happened I'm really starting to enjoy it. Even better is how Ceasar Clown may have to fight Nami and Usopp. SO PUMPED!!!
I'm just curious what happened to Laws crew. I assume they are the folks in the weird scuba-type suits who blast gas at things.
O YEAH! I forgot i like how Law teamed up with Luffy. That was cool.... but yah.
Oda either planned it all along or he is just really good at combining new story elements with past characters/arcs.
Whatever it is, One Piece is the only Shounen where I feel like I'm following a real story where things actually add up. For comparison, Kishi und Kubo just throw around random shit every second chapter.
See Orochimaru being randomly revived.
Oda is a scary man. More powerful than God Eneru, Blackbeard, and Akainu combined.
