Just got Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time, since it's supposed to be pretty good and it's only $2.50. How are the other games in that series?

In my opinion, the second one is the best (Warrior Within) but the third one's good too (Two Thrones). Sands of Time can be a little frustrating though because the fighting is hard and gets boring after some time. The other two games are nothing like that, I looked forward to every fight. Tons of combos, tons of secondary weapons which you can get from enemies etc. Speaking of enemies, in SoT there's only 4-5 kind, but the other games have plenty more of them.

Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are currently bundled together and on sale for $7.49 for the next 12 hours. This SUCKS. I've been wanting those for quite some time, but I'm completely broke after buying a couple PS3 games this month. This is why being able to see into the future would be so handy. Not for preventing major catastrophes... just to make wiser video-game buying decisions.

Decided I'd just bump this thread instead of making a new one.

Steam Autumn Sale 2012 is a go.

Just bought Portal 1 for $2.50

I'm planning on buying Doom 2, Heretic+Hexen and Trine 2 with the expansion. They're already 40-50% but maybe there'll be a bigger reduction till 27 th.
Also would like to buy Kingdoms of Amalur but it's still 50 euro :/

I got Awesomenauts for $3.39. If I didn't already have Psychonauts, I'd get that too, seeing as it's $5.

The first one is amazing for story and atmosphere back then it was also one of the very few games with a good take on a female character. (this comes from someones who played them all on release) It's also the most puzzliest of the bunch. Part two has one of funnest combat sytems if you master it you'll look insanely badass and it's not that complicated compared to stuff like dmc. Its story is pretty weak though, and the charming but naive prince personality gets replaced by emo prince. Also the puzzles are really weak. Part 3 tries to balance combat and puzzles out and the prince also becomes somewhat more interesting. There is a new combat mechanic though that involves quite a bit of quicktime events I'm not to fond of that.

My favourite would be the first one, especially because when it came out it was mindblowingly awesome with very few games that could compare to it at the time. I replayed it a few years back and the combat system gets somewhat repititive but despite that there is so much to enjoy about the characters that I can ignore that.

Got Trine 2 with the dlc for -75% plus Thief Gold and Thief 2 for -75%.

Now if only Doom 2 and Heretic/Hexen would get the same amount of reduction~

I'm going to hold off on buying anything in this autumn sale, just due to the fact I've barely touched all the games I bought back in the summer.

I really need to stop doing this..

It's 50% off right now, which put it at about $30 - don't know if that's a low enough price or not.

I'm so glad that Steam decided to price games for Brazil's currency; the cheapest got a little expensive but the already expensive got a little cheaper. For exemple, instead of paying 120 reais for a 60 dollar-game, I'm able to pay only 100 reais, a huge difference.
I bought Age of Empires 3 Collection, maybe I'll buy also Orcs Must Die 2 and I'll try to convince my bro to get something for us.

I decided to wait for the huge Christmas sale instead. It's only a month away, and my paypal account didn't have any money on it to my utter horror, so I shall spend a few euros on stuff that I want (including at least To The Moon, Cavestory, Torchlight 2, Shogun 2: Total War & others) when the better deals hit the market. This Christmas is going to make me a helluva lot poorer than any Christmas up to this point. My poor e-wallet.
It's been a hard day's night, and I've been working like a dog. It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log. But when I get home to you, I find the things that you do will make me feel alright. You know I feel alright, yeah.
