Skills-hibi-hibi fruit (earthquake powers)

Personalitly- Evil, wicked, heatless, come on stop complimenting the girl. Narcissistic to its original definition, Satin’s own flesh and blood, swav, smooth, and seductive like a jawbreaker between red sugared lips. Always seen quivering. Addicted to cigars and women and you better not mess with her coffee.

Story-This life of darkness started when her father was murdered, before her own eyes, by her mother after catching him in the act abusing their children (This is probably one of the reasons why she isn’t too fond of the opposite gender). Her mother was executed for the murder leaving Nera an orphan. Threw ought her childhood anything she grew attached to would slowly and slyly destroy it with the out most cruelness. Her younger sister suffered such a fate by her sibling’s hands, a fate that cannot be spoken of, not even to this day.

Unlike most baddies, being on top of the world doesn’t tickle her fancy. It’s the a high and rush that keeps her blood pumping and slaughter gives her a high that not even cigars, women, and coffee can give her. She shook up the ground so bad the earth swallowed up two villages with one gulp. She was a pirate once, even was the captain of her very own crew. All of them were loyal too. Even had a blind girl with as a first mate who was also her lover. But she murdered them, all of them, for killings sake. You would think she makes death into an art form. Surprisingly or not, despite her few in years she is a candidate for the Seven (or should I say six) Gods of Pirates. The reason is that with such a power as hers, the government needs to leash her somewhat.

I may a bit late with to reply in this thread, but better late then never. :D So here´s my character:



Name:
I haven´t thought of an adecuate name so far, since my thoughts were dwelling only about what the entire idea of this character is and not how he should be called.

Team:
This character is supposed to be a member of the Strawhats. He would be the “priest� of the ship. Don’t shout at me let me first explain what I had in mind.

The Age:
I think having him somehow around 21 years would be fitting for a young priest. He would be a little older then most of the Strawhats but still a youngling who has much to learn.

Basic Idea:
Labeling him as a priest is not intended to mean that his purpose for sailing is a crusade or that he´s some sort of missionary. NO&#33; What I had in mind while creating him is that in pirate stories there´s much story material based on mystic powers. For example, ghost ships, cursed treasures etc. And my priest is actually a character who could deal with such things.

My character is actually more some kind of priest-monk-medecineman-magician-combo.
Let´s say if the Straw Hat´s should ever encounter a ghost pirate crew, he would be the only one to defeat them because the strong Luffy, Zoro and Sanji might be, they can´t kill dead people. :)

His Aim:
I always had the idea that there´s more to the Devil Fruits then we know so far. So this character´s aim would be to find the origin of the Devil Fruits. Since he is a priest and many people get hurt by evil DF users his aim would be to search for a way to either counter or permantentally remove the DF powers from an evil DF user.
I didn´t think of an adecuate backstory so far, but I think in his past something must have happened to make him wish to be first (the best) priest to stop DF´s powers being used to hurt innocent people.

Skills:
Now for the interesting part. When it gets to fighting the opponent then he is the only one of the Strawhats who could defeat a ghost or a demon. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji couldn´t do anything against them because in my book ghosts and demons can´t be harmed by mere mortals. The weapon of he uses would be (hold your breath) a fan&#33;
But what would a Strawhat Pirate be without some large flaws? His would be his fighting skill. While as a priest he has great potential to defeat ghosts etc. his human fighting skill would be somewhere between Usopp in the Kuro arc and Chopper in the Drum arc. That means whenever he fights normal guys he would get beat up which brings me to my next point…

Character:
Among the Strawhats he would be the very calm voice of reason like some sort of a ships councelour BUT of course with the temper of a true Straw Hat Pirate, meaning even he would kick Luffy´s ass if he bother´s him too much. But when this would happen he would do it in some “religious� kind of way. For example punching Luffy while saying “May your sins be forgiven� (or something like that).
He would be one of the “wiser� crewmembers, but at the same time he would have a very bad sense of knowing his own limits. For instance, if the Strawhats get into a fight with lots of opponents he would bravely follow Luffy, Zoro and Sanji into battle only to get the crap beaten out of him, because he´s completely useless when it gets to fight humans (remember fighting power between Usopp and Chopper). That would be one of his comedy parts.

Other then that I intend him to be the cute boy of the Strawhats, meaning that the ladies of One Piece tend to find him hot (though they wouldn´t molest him like Sanji does when he sees a hot lady). But since he is a young priest he wouldn´t even care about how attracted the ladies feel towards him, which makes him only sexier to the female gender. This would make for great interactions with Sanji, since he would always be pissed that a guy who doesn´t care for women gets all the attention.

Well that´s it actually. I don´t think that I´ve forgotten something. Actually I when I first thought about the character I thought he would be a possible future creation of Oda. But then my own idea of him became more and more developed until I realized that it is just wishful thinking of me to have such a guy in One Piece. So I have to admit this guy´s definitely just my own creation and nothing that we will ever see in OP.

As far as the picture above is concerned. In order to have a One Piece character I thought it would only be fitting to include “original� Oda artwork. The pic consists of two characters from Oda´s oneshot “Ikki Yakou�. The body is from the main character, a young unexperienced priest (sound familiar?).
The head belongs to a guy who plays the forrest god. That´s the reason why the face and hair don´t really fit the clothes designwise. Actually I just made this photo as visual reference for my character. You should all see the basic idea behind the character´s design. He should have an attractive face, but a priests outfit. Here´s the some more pictures of the forrest god´s face aswell as the true pic of the young priest.

A firm believer in the power of modern technology (especially where guns are concerned), he considers swords (and their wielders) to be worthless. He suffers from an extreme case of color-blindness, which explains his wardrobe. His Hou Hou (Gun Gun) Fruit, of the Paramecia family, allows him to turn any part of his body into some form of gun, ranging from a peashooter to a cannon.

After the experiment was over she became a pawn of Baroque Works and began plundering ships. On one particular ship she found the Mecha mecha fruit, which when she had eaten it allowed her to control the implants that were at the time keeping her under the control of B.Works. She destroyed their control over her and became a rebel. Her current location is unknown. Her two swords, Celes and Stare, are said to house the spirits of their former wielders. Due to the implants she is also incredibly heavy, giving her more power in her attacks.

Eyes: They change. Again, check the lack-of-tablet-therefore-crap pic. Thank you.

Attack style: Kajii, being a tiger shark model, has three constant sets of teeth within his jaw, as one row is destroyed, within a short period of time, another row falls into place. They, however, are pretty damn strong, and therefore, his attack style relies on biting.

Again, his natural body comes into play as he has flexible cartrillige instead of bone, this both makes him swifter, lighter and his limbs are able to comforably bend without snapping, this means that his body can take many a blow without actually being damaged and would allow him to evade certain conflicts.

He likes to think he is a master sworsman, but the fact is, he is as skilled as a raw potato... But he mainly relies on his speed and hand to hand strength which, is alot higher.

Personality: Kajii is a pure thick gyojin at it&#39;s best. He is unable to see the bigger picture and he spends way too long on his hair. He is easily pissed - both in the drunk and angry sense, and he assumes that he is one of the strongest gyojin out there, and that he&#39;s alot smarter than both Arlong and Jinbei. This proves - of course, he is even more of an idiot.

Appearance: He contantly wears a overlly big white bandana - which doesn&#39;t suit him... Mostly he wears the simplest of clothing yet sometimes he&#39;ll wear the traditional merman symbol, yes, a hawaiian shirt. He has the red sun tattoo covering the top of his back... He&#39;s got pop out eyes. ~<3 Yay.

History: Plain and boring, he grew up on a small gyojin village, and eventualy, as he came of age, joined the biggest pirate crew he could find. Jinbei&#39;s.

Background: As the only daughter of the wealthy, well known Marine Hatori family, Emiko was always in the spotlight. Even during her time at the Marine Academy, she couldn’t escape. Her love for swords and other weapons both made her an outcast and helped her survive school. Her father is a long-time Commodore and her mother was his subordinate. However, because she (her mother) was out of his (her father’s) class, his family did not take kindly to her. However, after bearing six sons and one daughter, she became much more welcome.

Major Turning Point: On her fourteenth birthday, she was sent on a training mission with her squadron, where she met (and was supposed to capture) the dangerous female pirate, Hani Haru. After receiving a near-fatal wound from Hani’s first mate, Emiko is taken in by the pirates until she heals (she was abandoned by her comrades).

The Black Rose Pirates: This is where the story starts off. Emiko is now seventeen, wanted and ready to start her own pirate crew. With the help of her “bodyguard� Ryou, she sets off in search of the perfect crew- why? To find “One Piece�, of course&#33;

lol, that looks familiar :D. everyone has cool characters :), nice work people&#33; i&#39;ve come up with my own character and crew (it&#39;s pretty much the same as the straw hats except some things are different including my character, but the positions of the others pretty much the same...you&#39;ll see what i&#39;m talkin about.

Backround: a very good man who wants to find one piece and become the pirate king. his motivations are great pirates from the past, actually i think i&#39;ll make this guy luffy&#39;s grandchild. and after luffy becomes the pirate king, the same thing that happened to roger, happens to him and maffy goes out to be like grandpa luffy lol.

Hobbies: fighting, partying, having a good time with his nakama, and eating.

Bounty: &#036;900,000,000 (i made all the bounties a little outragous for my crew lol).

The Toothpick Pirates: well like i said, i based most of the characters off of the straw hats so it aint to origional. we have Monk (1st mate/swordsmen his bounty is), Nikki (the navigator), Red Leg Ray/Roy (i haven&#39;t decided ray or roy yet lol, he&#39;s the cook), Trojan (Sniper), Marco Polo (a chihuahua doctor), Rachael Leigh (based off of rachael leigh cook, the woman of my dreams, she&#39;s an archaeologist), Sykes (shipwright), Mad Murphey (a musician, i was listening to a dropkick murphey&#39;s song when i was trying to come up with a good name lol), and Pablo (the priest, a lot like woolfwood from trigun except his cross isn&#39;t a gun but it&#39;s used to beat people with lol). they&#39;ve all got mad high bounties ranging from 300 million to 800 million. yea, you don&#39;t wanna mess with these mofos :D&#33;

i actually got bored the other day and drew a pic of my crew. i&#39;d put it up to show you guys but i wouldn&#39;t know where to begin :D.

I´m not so sure what you mean about the Roberto Cuz statement. I´m a bit confused here. :wacko:
However as I said it´s good to see a fellow supporter of the priest idea. Even my character I had above is completely fictional I´m dead convinced that we will have a priest in One Piece because of the reasons I´ve mentioned in his description.

After the carpenter we just need three more a helsman, a priest and a musician and then Luffy´s ten nakama he went out searching for are complete. :D

I like your character, you should name him "Butsu Joh" (nickname) or after a Sutra or something.
