I asked and this was the place recommended to me, so if it's wrong, sorry. That said, I usually post these up on my tumblr, but I guess I can post them here too, since I don't have a set schedule for them (except the new chapters, which I do as I read the chapter~ keepin' it fresh~). Granted, this will probably start to get a bit long before too long, so I'll post here the newest reviews and use the second post as an archive to link to the tumblr versions of them.
Without further ado, I present:
Looking back over the years that I’ve been a One Piece fan I find myself watching and reading reviews of my favourite manga and agreeing or disagreeing with others’ opinion. It saddened me that there were no reviewers - that I could find - who did all the chapters and I always thought that that was a pity. I’ve also always wanted to do a chapter by chapter review of my own. So, today I took the first step towards this idea. Every week I will review - from start to end - the current and previous chapters of what I consider to be the best manga currently running.
One Piece: Chapter #002 - They call him Strawhat Luffy
Looks like a nice day to be sailing. Luffy is in his boat and… there’s some sort of disaster? He doesn’t look at all worried about whatever it is, though. Mustn’t be too bad.
…That is a biiiiig whirlpool. Luffy… WHY AREN’T YOU PANICKING?! At least show a bit of common sense!
Luffy applies Logic! It’s ineffective! East Blue uses Whirlpool! It’s super effective! Luffy is sucked in.
Well, that was a short manga.
Chapter page~ Luffy is chillin’ with what I’d call zebrus. Or ostribras. Or Emras. Well, whatever they are, they look like a cross between a zebra and an ostrich/emu.
We now jump to a remote island. There is a ship, with a flag, with a heart and skull flag. I wonder who’s ship this is. Does it belong to our new hero?
Hm, looks like it’s owned by a woman, going by those fingernails and hands. And it’s dirty. Oh dear, someone’s going to cop it.
Huh, she looks pretty enough I guess, from what we can see of her, anyway. I did promise you guys the prettiest woman in East Blue at the end of the last review, didn’t I? This must be her!
Hm, her names Alvida, she’s a bit of a neat freak and she seems to be pretty demanding of her crew. They seem to think she’s the prettiest thing in the world, too. Well, come on; I wanna see how pretty the ‘prettiest’ is!
Aw, look, there’s a cute little kid on her crew. She can’t be too bad if she takes in kids, right? She’s probably the strict but caring type!
Or not. She’s a bit of a … jerk. Well, pretty on the outside doesn’t always mean pretty on the inside, I guess. Also, she wields a huge club. With spikes. Looks like it’d hurt if it hit you, too.
She’s hideous! HIDEOUS! My eyes, my eyes. ;.;
Okay, so it seems our new hero is the cute kid, Coby. He’s something of a doormat for Alvida to walk all over. Gee, I hope he mans up soon.
Oh neat, he found a barrel of sake. The other pirates want to break it open and start a sake party, but Coby’s not too sure that’s the best idea. What if Alvida finds out?
Wow, even Coby’s fellow pirates beat him up. He’s… a bit of a wimp, isn’t he? I miss Luffy already.
Hahahah~ Luffy! You crazy goofball! Yay~ He didn’t drown after all! And finally we have our lovable hero back!
I guess if anyone needs a Luffy in their life, it’d be Coby. That boy needs to grow a backbone. He’ll make a great first crew member for Luffy, too. He’s a navigator and can take care of finding islands, and Luffy can teach him how to stand up for himself. Great!
Boy, are those pirates surprised! XD
Hm, sounds like Alvida’s getting a bit impatient. HOLY SHIP DESTRUCTION, ALVIDA! No need to rip your own ship a new hole! Oh dear, looks like they’ll need to do some fast talking to get out of this one; she thinks they were slacking off and is not impressed!
And suddenly it’s all Coby’s fault. Gee, she’s a bit paranoid, but I guess if I were a pirate I’d be on the lookout for people trying to cash-in on my head. But still, your own crew? Then again, the way she treats them… Yeah, I could understand why someone might want to hand her over for a bounty.
Hm, some guy called Roronoa Zoro? Never heard of him. Is he important?
In the meantime, Luffy and Coby are having a nice chat about whether or not Coby is important. Luffy’s good at brushing people off and forcing a change of subject. XD
Oh, seems Luffy did get caught in that whirlpool after all. Coby seems surprised that he even survived.
And Luffy wants a boat. He really is pretty selfish at this point, isn’t he? Actually, he never does change that, does he?
Coby offers his boat into service, but Luffy is less than impressed. Dunno why, it’s a nice looking boat and certainly better than any Luffy could make.
Okay, so 2 years is a long time to spend making that pile of crap. You’d think he’d have picked up a few tips and tricks after two years of building.
Coby… why are you such a wimp?
So, let me get this straight. You decided to go fishing one day and accidentally got onto a boat full of pirates. What kind of people do you usually go fishing with?! Why didn’t you jump out of the boat and swim back to shore when you realised what had happened?! What the hell, Coby!?
Luffy calls him out on his stupidity and launches an ‘I don’t like you’ attack while the boy is still reeling.
Coby asks why Luffy is sailing and cue the Pirate King answer. We’ll be seeing a lot more of that, folks, and I don’t think it ever gets old.
Cue a Coby freak out. You know, I’m not sure I even want a wimp like this one the crew. >.<;
Luffy puts an abrupt end to it by whapping him over the head, but it seems Coby is used to being hit. He’s a bit of a masochist, isn’t he?
Luffy then declares that he doesn’t care if he dies for his dream, he’s not afraid and Coby is in awe of Luffy’s resolve.
Seems that touched Coby’s heart. He never considered putting his life on the line to fulfil his own dream and seeing Luffy so riled up has got him reconsidering his own actions.
Aw, looks like he won’t be joining the crew. Pity, I could start to warm up to him now that he’s taking that step to getting over being a wimp.
Coby is all fired up and making plans! Capturing Alvida seems to be one of them, but…
Yeah, he shouldn’t have said that where she could hear. Cue Alvida beating the hell out of his boat. What is it with OP villains and their hatred of wooden things?
And she brought the crew. How nice! And it seems she’s a bit relieved that Coby didn’t have the Roronoa character with him. He can’t be that big a threat, right?
Oh dear, Luffy, you really shouldn’t have butted in. That was a private conversation, you know? And now she’s set her sights on you!
Cue improvised lesson: How not to get yourself killed by Alvida in 1 step! Call her beautiful!
Except it seems a certain kid seems to have grown a pair and finally manned up! Way to show her, Coby!
I don’t think Alvida is at all impressed. Nope, not at all. Wow, she looks kinda murderous. Oh, uh, better run, Coby! Or grab a bench or something to redirect her anger at.
Luffy finishes his laughing to finally do something. Getting between Alvida and Coby might not be the smartest of ideas, though, Luffy. >.<
And Luffy takes a club to the head… the rubber head! It’s ineffective!
Alvida is understandably a tad shocked by this and Luffy, not one to wait around for his opponents to pull themselves together, decides to take her down in one shot. Nice!
Welp, she’s out cold.
And Luffy decides to get forceful. Seems he’s warmed up to Coby a bit more, too. That’s sweet. :D
One boat and a few hours sailing later and Coby and Luffy are on their way to the next island.
Luffy at least understands some of the challenges that await him on his journey and talk about how he’ll need a strong crew to even get into the Grand Line - the place where the Pirate King hid his treasures. Apparently it’s also known as the Pirate’s Graveyard. Sounds like a cakewalk. >.<;
Seems Luffy wants to check out this Roronoa guy and see if his credentials check out. Cue another Coby freak-out. Damn, kid, take a chill pill!
And that’s all for this review. In the next one our intrepid hero and side-kick will land themselves in a spot of bother and meet up with that guy named Roronoa. Should be fun!
One Piece Chapter #003 - Pirate Hunter Zoro Enters
We start with Coby reverting to his previous wimp status. Didn’t take him too long. Apparently that Roronoa Zoro guy is a well known hunter of pirates - well known enough to actually gain the moniker “Pirate Hunter”. It’s a nice nickname, don’t you think?
A monster in the form of a man, eh? Sounds a scary sort. He’s probably old and grizzly, right? With a kick-ass beard, lots of weapons and lots of scars from all the fights he’s been in - a scary fellow to behold.
Ah, Coby, you’re going to have to learn that Luffy doesn’t listen to reason or logic. He seems determined to check out this Zoro character for himself and judge whether or not he’s a good guy.
The front cover has Luffy riding on a shark. Your arguments? They’re so far from valid, it’s not funny.
Well, they’ve finally reached the port and Luffy is amazed at Coby’s ability to get a ship to where they were aiming to go. This probably doesn’t bode well for Luffy and any future crew if they don’t get a navigator on board. >.<;
I guess Coby is kinda useful to have around.
First stop? Food. I think I’m starting to see a pattern here…
After eating Luffy decides it’s best if he and Coby go separate ways from now on, seeing as Coby wants to be a marine and they don’t mix well with pirates. Coby agrees and wishes him luck in becoming a pirate. How polite~
Huh. I guess this Zoro guy really is a monster if people’s reactions to just his name are anything to go by. Wow, he’s really made a name for himself, hasn’t he?
Okay, so maybe the people around here just don’t like names or something. They seem rather jumpy all in all. I mean, why would they give the same reaction to the Marine Captain’s name as they did to Zoro’s? Great, a town full of Coby’s. This’ll be fun. >.<;
Back out on the street and Luffy seems to find their reactions hilarious. Coby, however, is getting a bad feeling about this. Maybe being a wimp has helped to hone his flee instincts over the years because I’m also getting a bad feeling.
And now Coby ignores his intuition to argue over whether or not the Marine Captain could be a bad guy. Luffy seems to think it’s a possibility, but come on, it’s Luffy. What does he know?
Yeah, I’m with you on this one, Luffy. I’m afraid Marines only have style as far as clothes go. When it comes to architecture they seem to have pretty bad ideas on what constitutes stylish.
And Coby wimps out again when Luffy prods him to go to the gates and follow his dreams. Is anyone surprised by this?
Luffy decides to scope things out while Coby dithers. Climbing the nearby wall, he takes a look around. Of course, this is Coby’s cue to start freaking out that he might be seen and to get down. Luffy’s too interested in trying to find the monster to pay him much attention, though.
Coby uses his head - of course they wouldn’t keep a prisoner in the yard. That’d be stupid! What if his cohorts decided to rescue him? Luffy, however, thinks he saw something and decides to check it out. Wonder what he saw?
And there’s an ominous face if ever I saw one. Looks pretty dangerous.
I wouldn’t want to get too close. Is that said monster, do you think?
Luffy, of course, is enjoying the peek he’s taking, wondering whether it’s the monster Zoro or not. Coby is pretty sure it is, though, remarking on the trademark black bandanna and haramaki Roronoa wears around his waist. Wait, you couldn’t tell us about said trademarks before this, Coby? Seriously?
…Okay, can I just point out how stupid it is to keep your prisoner in the yard, where anyone can climb on over the fence and help them escape? Seriously? Just to break the pretence that I don’t know what’s gonna happen next, but if he was more like the monster they accuse him of being, he’d have taken off already. How could they know he wouldn’t take off? They don’t really know him from squat! Why would they believe that he’d stay? To keep the law from coming down on those people, sure, but the Marines don’t know that he’s all honourable and what-not! There’s not even any guards or wire on the fence or anything! Way to be terrible at your jobs, guys! >.<; /rant
Yes, this is he, the most terrible monster: Roronoa Zoro, Pirate Hunter. He looks pretty young to be considered a feared warrior from what we can see of him.
Luffy seems to be thinking about untying him. Apparently the ropes look easy enough to break.
Cure another fit from Coby. Does he ever get the urge to smack himself, I wonder? Maybe he likes panicking. Hm…
Oh, Zoro talks~
Sure, we’ll just head on over and untie you from that post o’ yours right after Coby calms down a bit.
Nine days! Holy~ We have a bad ass over here guys!
Yes, Luffy, he’s smiling. >.<;
Oh really? You want us to believe you’ll keep your word an help us out if we untie you? I dunno, should we believe this guy? He looks awful shady to me.
Well, Luffy seems confident that he could beat the guy and won’t be killed, so I guess we’re gonna let him go. Coby doesn’t like the sounds of this, I’m sure.
Oh wait, what’s this? Some little girl decides to interject herself into the situation, demanding silence from both Luffy and Coby. Geez, even little girls think you whine too much, Coby!
The little girl hops the fence and stalks her way over to the strung-up Zoro. She’s got a lot of guts, this one - and she moves like a ninja. There you go, Luffy, take the little girl for your crew. Ninjas are always helpful and you can put to rest the old age argument of Ninja vs pirate by having a Ninja-Pirate. Or Pirate-Ninja. Whichever.
Coby begs Luffy to stop the little girl, but Luffy knows better than to get in the way of a ninja. You wanna stop her, you’re gonna have to do it yourself, Coby.
Aw, she made rice balls for Zoro. Unfortunately, he’s more of a doughnut fan and demands she takes leave at once. Of course, being a ninja, she’s not easily driven off and demands he eat her cooking. Looks like we’ve reached something of a stalemate here - it’s ninja vs Pirate Hunter. Who will win this battle of dominance!?
Just as things are starting to get heated, some ponce walks in and breaks up the tension with his hilarious style. Did I say Marines knew how to dress stylishly? I’m sorry, seems I was gravely mistaken. Good lord, man, what happened to your hair?
Said ponce’s name is… wait for it… waaaaaait for iiiit… Helmeppo. His name is Helmeppo. Am I the only one who’s instant thought was a hippo in a purple suit when he first strolled on scene? No? Oh, good.
Apparently he’s the Lieutenant’s son… I’m guessing that’s the guy who runs this place. Wonderful. I think the only person happy to see him and his cohorts at this time is Coby.
Aw, he just wants some rice balls. Well, it’s not like Zoro ‘the doughnut lover’ was gonna eat them anyway. Ninja rice balls… Oh, wait! Don’t eat that! She’s a ninja! They’re probably poisoned!
If his face is anything to go by, they are, but apparently she used sugar instead of salt… and the boy loves him some salt. So much so that he decides to stomp her ninja rice balls into the ground. Damn, man; over-reaction much?
Well, he’s right, at least the ants will eat them. Still, it’s a pity - like Coby said, she did put a lot of work in to making them.
Aw, he tries to cheer her up, but, um, telling her that she’d have got the death penalty if she was an adult might not be the best way to go about that. Oh well, at least he seems decent enough. It’s not like he’s ordering her to be thrown out or anything.
…Seriously dude? Seriously?
Well, at least Luffy is there to catch her. And Coby too, I guess, though he doesn’t do much besides comfort her after the fact.
While this is happening, Football head is reminding Zoro that if he stays alive for a month he’ll keep his promise and let him go. Wonder what promise that is?
And Luffy doesn’t waste any time making contact. He seems to think that Zoro might be up to snuff for his pirate fleet, too. I guess he likes the look of Mr. Pirate Hunter, though the same can’t be said of Zoro liking Luffy. One word about him being a pirate and he suddenly becomes all prickly. Seems he doesn’t have much love for pirates. Well, I guess Luffy will just have to look for someone else to join his crew. How about a ninja, Luffy? Will a ninja do?
Huh. Seems Zoro has some dreams he intends to fulfil. For someone who’s been out on a post for nine days, he seems pretty lively. Maybe he will make it through the month okay… Oh, alright. Probably not, without any food. Maybe they could sneak some out to him?
…Well, it’s not doughnuts but at least the dirt will mask the flavour of the rice, eh Zoro?
Aw, and he leaves a message with Luffy to give to the girl, letting her know he appreciated the rice balls. That’s so sweet~
Luffy lets her know and she’s quite excited to know he ate them. Maybe she filled them with some ancient ninja medicine which will help him last the month through? Good thing Football Head didn’t eat them!
Oh, and finally the true story comes out. Zoro isn’t a bad guy at all! He was arrested for protecting the ninja girl from a rabid wolf which was owned by Football head. Aw, he really is a good guy~
Even Coby seems to think that Zoro might be a nice guy - if a bit temperamental - and the Morgan’s might be the baddies after all.
Cue Football Head making a ruckus, threatening to see anyone who doesn’t bow to him exterminated. And this is the son of a Marine Lieutenant?
Ho shoot! He’s gonna go back on his word and kill Zoro in three days instead of waiting to see if he lasts a month?! What the hell, dude? Do you even know the meaning of honour? Honesty? Integrity? Someone needs daddy to give ‘em an ass-whooping!
Ha! Bypass the father and let Luffy do the job. At least we know he’ll do it right~ Go Luffy! Show that spoiled brat what-for!
Looks like Luffy has made up his mind. Zoro will be his next crew mate!
And on that note, we end this chapter of One Piece. In the next chapter we meet Daddy-Morgan, see a few beat-downs handed out and maybe we’ll see how marines are at interior decoration. Couldn’t be worse than their landscaping skills, right? Right?
Current/Recent Chapter reviews
One Piece Chapter 679 - The Audacity of G5 First off, sorry this one's later than usual. I had a migraine last night and decided to go to bed early... and slept in pretty late. But I'm here now, so worry not! Second, I refuse to use the mangapanda title of 'Determination G5' because, really, it's just plain silly. So I'll keep the title that Aohige translated. Chances are that it's much more fitting anyway. Now, on with the show!
Cover page and we're still with Jinbe and Caribou. Looks like his brother has turned up and given chase - and check out the replacement ship! It looks almost identical to the one they lost to the Kraken, Surume. Nice to see they're still alive, though.
The first thing we see is the island covered with gas. It's a pretty bleak picture, though pretty with the light shining through the clouds like that.
Unfortunately Caesar has realised he can't make out any new statues around the entrance to his lab. He's also worried since he can't see anything in the cage. Oh dear, are you plans not working properly, Caesar? What a pity.
Monet asks what Vergo thinks about this and he replies that if the soldiers are gone, then the rest of the gang must be too. He's getting pretty serious there, saying that he might have to kill Law himself... with a spoon stuck to his face.
Of course, this riles up Caesar but timely intervention by some minions stops the impending tantrum, if only for the moment. Said minion reports that the enemy have breached the walls are and heading deeper into the lab.
This is obviously cause for alarm in Caesar's mind and he starts panicking.
While Caesar is getting more riled up, Chopper jumps out from where he was hiding and high-tails it out of there, running as fast as his little legs can take him.
Looks like Chopper wasn't hiding idly, either. He's figured out how the gas was made and stolen some sedative while he was at it. Good job, Chopper!
Uh oh! Looks like a certain Harpy saw Chopper. Here's hoping she doesn't make a scene and point him out to Caesar or Vergo!
Looks like she's decided to keep her mouth shut. Phew! But I wonder why? Maybe she is working for Law, or at least not exactly working for Caesar. Or perhaps she just doesn't see him as a threat.
Right, Caesar has a plan! He's decided he'll block the passages between where the crew and marines are and where they're heading, then open up a hole and let the gas in to take care of them. It's not a nice plan, but it works for him, I guess.
Also, yay! It's return of map mode~
Okay, so R is where the escape passage is. C is where Caesar is chilling, D is where the children are being kept and A is where our intrepid heroes are making their way through to B. Nice!
Caesar sees no need to keep up the nice boss act and orders some of his guards to tear down the wall, letting in Shinokuni, even though it will kill them. Yeah, he's a dastardly jerk, that's for sure.
More Broker pictures. All in shadow, as per usual. I wonder when we'll get to see them?
Vergo doesn't seem to like the chances of this plan catching either Smoker or Law, so decides to take action himself. He goes to grab his sword and...
Um... yeah, he doesn't have a sword. XD Oh, I really do like his character. He's so scatterbrained as well as a messy eater. It should be fun watching the upcoming fight.
Meanwhile, back to Laboratory Building A, Luffy is going head to head with a spider-taurus. He looks like he means business, too! Kinda reminds me of that spider zombie way-back on Thriller Bark. Maybe a cousin?~ XD
XD Oh Luffy! You're always the funny one at times like this. ^.^
So, after taking care of Machete no Run, which was the spider-taur's name, Luffy runs up some stairs, towards a huge door. Said door is apparently the passage connecting Buildings A and B together.
Said door is also in the act of closing. Oh dear, this could get troublesome!
Woo~ We get to see Law teleport. Well, I say teleport, but really he just swaps positions with a broken crate. Still, awesome~
Smoker is wondering what that beeping noise is. It's getting in the way of him enjoying his cigar.
Law gives him the low-down - apparently it's an alarm that lets you know that the passages are closing. Said passage is the only way to Building B, so they'd better get a move on if they're going to get there on time!
Back near the entrance, Zoro, Kine-mon and Brook (as well as the others) are finding their way blocked by the G5 marines who are hell-bent on capturing them. Yeah, this isn't the best timing guys...
Of course, the three swordsmen take point and beat them back with superior sword-skills, burning, freezing and cutting them all at the same time. That's a pretty awesome spread, too~
XD Nice to see Usopp isn't cowering in fear. Seems that if he's not cowering, he's making jokes or being a badass. It's just one of the reasons to love the guy.
Looks like everyone else is riding the seriously wounded and possibly-winded Brownbeard. Guys, the man took some serious damage on your behalf, outran the gas for you, got bit on the tail by a dragon and smashed through a steel door... you think you could give him a rest or something by... oh, I dunno, maybe carrying your own weight and walking yourselves?! Honestly!
And apparently they dragged the dragon along for the hell of it. Well, at least Nami thinks it's cute, not dangerous. Brownbeard is inclined to disagree. I guess it did bite his tail after-all.
Aw, dragon blushed~ She's right, it's cute. That's it! Dragon get for the crew! I can see it now, Nami riding the dragon into battle, dealing damage from on high with her new climatact and weather knowledge, Robin riding along, dealing death from on high. It'll be awesome. ODA! Do this! ...Please?
Those marines aren't letting up and Zoro is getting just a little annoyed. He goes to take them out and finds his sword blocked by none other than Tashigi. Well, she's definitely grown in sword skills. Not saying that Zoro was going all out on the small fry, but he wasn't holding back as much, and she managed to block it outright, while having no ground beneath her, so she's gotten a lot better. Go, Go Tashigi-chan~
Okay, so either MangaPanda did something wrong with the text here (most likely) or I can't make sense of their exchange. Looks like Zoro called her out for cheating by becoming a Captain and having no will to live and she just acknowledges and tells him to go ahead. Yeah, that doesn't make sense. I'll have to come back to this part later when a better translation is up. >.<;
Tashigi tells the G5 marines that there's no time for fighting and that they better get their asses in to gear and MOVE or else they'll get locked behind and die!
Of course, when it's their precious Captain-chan giving the orders, the men get moving. They start hauling their injured comrades up and getting closer to the gate, which is about half-way closed by now.
Back with the crew, and Robin suddenly appears on Brownbeard's back, to the everlasting joy of Sanji. Usopp is shocked and asks what she's doing there - last time they saw her she was with Lufy. Seems Luffy asked her to go with the others, probably because he expects a hard fight from Vergo and Caesar, and so she can take care of them.
Meanwhile Nami is trying to urge Brownbeard to run faster, but it seems he's hit his top speed. Luckily, or he'd be trampling on Zoro, Brook and Kine-mon, who are getting tired of having to run so much. Kine-mon complains about it but the other two are more than happy to run away from the doomy-doomy-death gas.
Some of the baddies recognise Brownbeard with the Mugiwaras and wonder why their beloved boss is with them. It's a nice touch, showing that they've got feelings too, especially when someone they know and love is seemingly a traitor.
G5, why are you taking so long to get to the door? It's almost closed already!
Outside the lab a cannon is fired to create an opening in the wall. Damn, his own men are there, where the blast occurs. That's just cold, man.
And the Gas starts to enter the lab. This... this is not a good thing. I don't think anyone has actually made it beyond the door yet! They'd better hurry!
Oh shit! Everyone just turned their running shoes up to eleven and are sprinting for that life-saving (and almost closed) door. I can see bad things happening! For one, people are already falling prey to the gas!
Brownbeard takes a running leap and makes it through just in time. Seems he sent Zoro, Brook, Kine-mon and Tashigi flying through as well. Thankfully, it seems quite a few marines made it through too!
Luckily Tashigi is caught by some of her men. She quickly rushes back to the gate, desperate to get as many of her men through as possible.
Oh... Oh. ;.;
Those that make it through thank those who were on the outside. Seems that they threw Tashigi through the door, saving her but dooming themselves at the same time. Their very last act was to cheer their fellows on, striking encouraging poses - thumbs ups, peace signs... creating monuments of their bravery from their own bodies, frozen forever in time. ;.;
And in the C building, Ceasar cackles and calls them worthless trash, swearing to kill all who survived. I'm really starting to not like this guy.
And that is the end of this chapter of One Piece. What a sad end, too. ;.; It'll definitely be worth it when they take Caesar down, though! Next week, more One Piece! See you then~
Sadly, while I would have liked to have posted the ones I already have in this thread, they're a bit too image-heavy, so I had to remove a few pictures in these ones as well as add the older ones to the archival post sooner than I had intended. Oh well. I'll post up the links~

Thanks Nolus, for both the information and letting me know you enjoyed the last review!
Yeah, you might have a point about waiting, but I like to do them as I read them so the reactions are fresh... and I'm far too impatient to wait on the better reviews. >.<;
I'll probably re-review them when I catch up to the current arcs (it may take a while). It'll be an interesting experiment to see how my point of view changed. ^.^
