Yeeeep, that definitely looks like a Whedon cast. I'm excited for the show, guessing it will be like Fringe with Marvel characters. And by that, I mean a CSI like show but with unusual cases, who knows though, we don't really know that much about the show. I doubt Joss Whedon is working on every episode, though I am sure his brother and his wife will end up being the show runners. Either way, weekly MCU adventures!

He doesn't have that much control over it, plus there aren't any boys or teenagers in the show at the moment(ok that was rude, I'm sorry, but you have to admit, his Nova is just a tribute to his kid and ruins the history of the character.)

They're reverse engineering Chitauri tech for Shield. As for if/when they'll make an appearance again...it's still up in the air. Don't see why they'd show up in this series though unless they want to highlight the R&D Department regarding alien tech.
