Well he was also jobless for a while it seemed so he had time to do that sort of training.
Doing all of that every 2 days would be possible but yeah, every day would give you no time for muscle growth. The squats actually sound like the most grueling to me, knowing the kind he was probably doing.
I'm pretty sure for the gag of this manga he actually just did normal ones :D And once your body is used to it a bit, trust me, muscles will grow without a day rest. Actually, I'm going to start that training right now. Minus the 10km run, because fuck that.

Now that I think about it, he probably was just doing reg. squats. Especially because the other characters' reactions to him were "That's all you did!?"
The running's not that bad guys :P You get used to it. Take it from a competitive runner. 10k is like an hour--that becomes super easy if you do it a lot.
I admire you... I'm not anywhere near the shape to do 100 pushups and situps ;~; I just started working out a few days ago. If it wasn't for Hajime No Ippo, One-Punch Man might have inspired me to get in shape by itself lol.
I can't believe how satisfied I am by this manga just 11 chapters in though. Concept goes a long way! And the killer spreads and art...
edit: I jog for fun and for some reason don't consider it working out.

Don't you start admiring me I'm a lazy bum. I did some martial arts (well, still doing), which brought me in shape but then I had a year or two "practically" off with way too few training sessions and my stamina is really shit now. Picked up Muay Thai a year ago and it's pretty awesome, check it out.. But I can't do 100 press ups in one go anymore :(((
Edit: and the only times I've been running was like, 5 times in my whole life, lol. But I consider myself to be a good runner regardless xD probably not anymore. If you don't consider it working out, run faster until you do!! :P

Spoiler:
I had been following this since it came out, and at first i didn't take it seriously, then I realized ti wasn't meant to be. then I fell in love.
I really wish Murata would work on something that isn't a complete joke again.
I'm sorry, but the "lol he just dont care he killed dat guy in one punch xD" really does get boring after the 5th time in a row it happens. Sure, the art's amazing, but it's the same damn setup and the same damn joke every time.
Guys, it's not the training or the time it takes to complete the exercise that's the hindrance, just think about everything else...
Like, if you trains for a year, EVERY DAY. But suddenly get sick you need to start all over again.
Who exactly is Mumbo?
It's OFFICIAL, UsoppXNami 4ever.
This new chapter was pretty cool. I'm guessing by the cover art that there actually are quite a few reacurring characters besides Onepunch and Genos.
I accidentally discovered this manga about a week ago, and I'm hooked. So good for something with such a simple premise.

Yeah, if the cover is already that full with characters, it seems there'll be a lot to look forward to.

The dialogless action scenes from chapters 15 and 17 were trullly amazing, the art is fantastic! I'm loving it! Can't wait for the next chapter! Also, the first vol. comes out in december.
