It looks like it's affecting a lot of other people, there's not too many users online.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, but we're having a DNS registration issue with apforums.net. We'll get it straightened out as soon as we manage to contact the right people. Even once the issue is resolved it'll take half a day or so to update (nothing we can do about that).

For now, just stick with the forums.arlongpark.net address for a bit.

Some of you might still be able to hit a few pages using apforums.net due to cached DNS, but you will run in to problems. Use forums.arlongpark.net for everything and you should be fine. We've been planning to switch to forums.arlongpark.net as the default, so might as well use this as an opportunity to get everyone moving over to that url.

Yeah you can, it`s working for me. The first try did fail though, but when I then entered my password again, it suddenly worked.

It would be a lot helpful .. if the twitter account of APForums send a message to use forums.arlongpark.net if apforums.net isn't loading.. :)

the number of users in the site are very less from past couple of days.. :(

Yeah had the same issue, went to the APForums facebook group and from there I found out what happened. Guess I'll bookmark forums.arlongpark.net from now then...

I'm still not able to access the forum through the regular URL. I had to do a lot of Internet searching to find a link, and the URL that allows me to get in is completely different from the one that it is usually. Also, has control of the site really been switched?

Of course not. Don't be silly.

I hope the issue gets fixed soon though. Or more people find the other URL. In any case, the forums are kinda dull with this few people.

That made me think of a new webcomic someone should make.

If anything, people will find their way back here because I answered a question about it in the comments of one of my Hattori videos.
Because, honestly, that's the first place I'd check.

Interesting. If I may ask, How come? It seems as if more people are familiar with the shorter apforums than the longer URL. Changing it to a more obscure one seems risky, to say the least.

By the way, while on this forums.arlongpark.net, I don't see many icons displayed that were usually displayed before the problems. Is that just because of this URL or because of the overall issue?

Until that is fixed, I would recommend to fix up the SEO so it shows up on the 1st page of google when people search for the website, so they are still able to find this website.
