In my case Futurama takes the cake. :)
In my eyes Futurama is so much more original, Family Guy is like a Simpsons copy only with more vulgarity and less intelligent jokes.Just Bender in Futurama makes the show really worth watching. B)

They're both very good series.
Family Guy is definitely funnier, and always pushes the envelope, which I like. Seth and the gang are a pretty good crew.
But Futurama has much better animation, and actual character development, while still being pretty witty and hilarious. All and all, I'd have to say i like Futurama more, even though I admit that Family Guy is funnier (if that makes sense).

I honestly think Family Guy is one of the funniest shows on TV :D To me Family Guy beats Futurama any day even though they are both really good

Futurama is a great show and I love those Grunkalunkas, Zoidberg, and Bender.
But Family Guy is too hillarious. Those cut scenes are too much. Remember Olie the black weatherman? Pure comedy!

Back in the Fox days and up until a few months ago, I'd have said Family Guy by a longshot. But Futurama has more episodes, and better humor, imo. FG is funny, but the humor seems shallow to me. I always think of these scenes to compare them by:
FG: Peter presses a "Do Not Push" button, and a little karate man kicks him.
FR: Bender uses an X-Ray gun on Fry, and he goes "Ow, my sperm!" Bender does it again, and Fry says "Hey, it doesn't hurt anymore."

Both terrific shows, but Futurama takes the top spot in my opinion. I'm a big Family Guy fan too, though, and I've never understood why some consider it a rip-off of the Simpsons, except for the obvious big-fat-stoopid-dad part. The humor is quite different, in particular Family Guy's use of non-seqiturs.

Both shows are really funny but Family Guy gets my vote for two reasons.
1. Family Guy is getting new episodes this May whereas Futurama gets jack.
2. Olie the Black Weatherman. "What's the weather going to be like Olie?" "It gonna rain!"
