Not foreshadowing, per se, but I like the implied explanation that Enel gives later that the drum-ring thing embedded in his back is supposed to amplify his Mantra/CoO.

Edit: I should note that the story-external reason is that the Shinto god of thunder has similar drums on his back.

Chapter 224: The Strawhats have already been to The City of Gold in Skypiea. Emerald City has yet to be confirmed but Vegapunk gives me Wizard of Oz vibes.

The Doflamingo puppets in chapter 794 cover and King Baum (Oz series author's name is L. Frank Baum which had talking trees) further add to Oda having the Wizard of Oz in his plans.

And the name of the manga is One Piece. So it exists, at least in a meta way.

Mantra was first mentioned in chapter 246 and then we find out it was Kenbunshoku Haki in chapter 519.... That's a 273 chapter difference which is about 6 years later (in actual time)
