To be fair Dems didn't fair much better.Nearly one in every three Republican primary voters who responded to a recent poll said they wanted to bomb Agrabah, the fictional city in Disney's 1992 film Aladdin. Democrats polled were slightly less in favor of destroying the made-up place.
The company that commissioned the poll, Public Policy Polling, announced the Agrabah result in a tweet on Friday: "30% of Republican primary voters nationally say they support bombing Agrabah. Agrabah is the country from "Aladdin."
Ha, that reminds me of the time just before the second Iraq war that a local candidate in my area was asked if he would support an invasion of Freedonia.
Spoiler:
For the sake of my sanity I'm going to assume most of those voters caught on and were just joking.

Jafar as a secular dictator needs to be given our backing, he may be a nasty warlock who turned the sky red and placed the royal palace on a cliff. But regime change would just encourage terrorists and street rats to rise up.
UN inspectors are still determining if he really has a genie or not, let's not get hasty.
The bombing of Agrabah will be explained with a statement that the military had a reliable source stating that it was home to a terrorist organization by the name of "Den of Forty Thieves".
Princess Jasmine bint Harun has arrived in Madrid and is believed to have declared a government in exile, international community is indicating that they will recognize the government of Jafar as legitimate.
Negotiations are impossible with Ja'far still in power, and it does not look like his successor Iago could form a more agreeable interim goverment. We can only hope that Aladdin can unify the opposition until the next elections.
He can't trust Aladdin- we know nothing about his background and he's been responsible for a one-man rise in crime. If you ask me, we should be backing that Prince Ali Ababwa fellow. He seems like a stand-up sort of guy.
Seriously Agrabah wouldn't be in alone in this trouble that that spoiled (former?)princess didn't run off potential allies before this came down. But nooo... she had to sic her pet tiger on foreign princes that came to see her. No wonder they had no allies when Ja'far took over!
Explosions have been reported in the vicinity of the historic Cave of Wonders; the Ja'far regime has previously released videos condemning the Sassanid-era cave as a "monument to idolatry".
Much like Sultan Qaboos of Oman, Prince Ali Ababwa is well-known for being fabulous.
Complicating things since 2009.
