I don't see how the Rescue Rangers can't be part of the rebooted DuckTales universe. There's plenty of Chip 'n Dale appearances in classic Donald Duck cartoons.

Chip and Dale always had a weird situation in the old shorts where they were between full on animals like Pluto and characters like Mickey and Donald; they acted mainly like animals but spoke a sort of pidgin English mixed with animal noises. So it wasn't really that odd when they were that much smaller than the rest of the cast.

That's a lot different than their Rescue Ranger depiction.

The thing is, there have been similar situations in Disney comics (Jacques and Gus from Cinderella, for example, made regular appearances in some of the lesser Barks comics starring Grandma Duck), so there is precedent for a RR like situation in something like Ducktales. Supposedly Disney was actually going to do a crossover episode with Darkwing and the RR.

I feel like the ideal situation (that is being true to both shows while being more than a cameo) would be to have a parallel but interconnected story going on in an episode between the Rescue Rangers and the Ducks involving an object of wealth their respective villains are after (similar to the multi-parter in RR). You just need to introduce the chipmunks to the ducks as these normal animals at first (ones that others find cute but annoy Donald), and then reveal their secret base is in the middle of the Duckburg park before the theme song, and for the plot, overlap only where necessary. That's the real problem with mixing Ducktales and Rescue Rangers (at least for this show) because 22-minutes may not be long enough.

Look animal rules in Disney stuff rarely make much sense. Goofy and Pete had a pet cat and dog respectively in Goof Troop, Donald has been known to eat poultry, Mickey's ears are actually a hat, we've seen wild pelicans and seagulls in this series, the mice can talk in Cinderella but no other animals, etc. Ya think about this too hard and you'll get an aneurysm.

As Theodore Roosevelt shows in The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, Goofy is a human

So, Flintheart is voiced by Keith Ferguson, voice of Bloo, Lord Hater and Cars' Lightning outside the movies. Very good guy, good actor, I've always liked him. Now it's the funniest thing, but for the longest time I was under the impression that Flintheart was actually voiced by Craig Ferguson, Scottish-American host of the talk show and voice of Owl in the new Pooh movie. Weird, right?

Big Hero 6 is also moving to Disney Channel so that's pretty much it for Disney XD having any major shows.

Well, we had guessed and hoped and he'd been teasing, but nice!

Also, your signature is currently a GIANT photobucket ad telling you to update to pro. You may want to hide that for a bit until the month rolls over or whatever standard they have for deciding to pop a giant ad.
