Is there even a debate? It's Nami Clone #23 (Now with fur!) versus original athletic rabbit girl with an electric paw.

Is "Nekomamushi" the actual name of the guy looking after Bepo? Or is it just the name of his mink-species untranslated?
    I would assume it's a nickname, since Cat-viper isn't a real animal.

Pretty sure that was the intention.
Oda is teasing us. Specifically our groin region.

I'll just repost what I said in the spoiler thread.
I think fans are getting stuck in an echo chamber about him and making the actual content in the manga seem worse than it is.
Or maybe that's just because Sani's been great for me.

What is Pandaman's fat, He-Man cosplaying cousin doing there?

Exactly. Same goes for Brook--he's usually just in the background and could be accompanying him somehow.

Nah, she just has a fetish for fur-less freaks. Usopp's next in line once he let's his guard down, while Carrot will chip a tooth trying to bite Franky's face.

Same here, every cool thing he does get completely ignored or spun negatively, and every minor slight against him gets blown completely out of proportion. I don't get what's up with my fellow Sanji fanboys.

If it was Nami people would complain about another damsel in distress.
It's still a hostage situation though just with Sanji being the damsel in distress, it's like what? LOL.

Well, I hope he gets some thing good, it's awful to keep seeing him get dragged through the mud each arc.

Yah, Luffy's not going to be able to last on this Island. I don't know what's worse for him, being stretched over and over again by the woman on Amazon Lilly or licked to death by Wanda.
    Luffy fan.
LuffyxHancock or LuffyxNami? I can't decide.

    So best left untranslated?

Sanji is dead then or captured by Jack.

Names shouldn't be translated, but nick names should.
But at this point we don't know.

That's why I've always felt iffy about Shichibukai, Yonkou, and Marine epitaphs not being translated, while we have no problem translating "Straw Hat" or Whitebeard. So inconsistent.

Yeah, I don't like seeing Nami cry and how she said Sanji's name. I don't think it's his death, but I think He's gotten kidnapped and We're about to find out about Sanji's backstory . The third option is that Sanji is terrible sick at the moment .
I still, have no idea what I'm doing

I'll repost what I posted in the spoiler thread:

Chopper being a doctor can easily confirm Sanji being dead or not. So either Nami has a reason to be lying through her teeth to her captain or Sanji is indeed a goner.

Still that doesn't explain the switched clothes and the non-tears for Brook and Momonosuke. I suspect devilfruit trickery.

Sanji got bitten by a snake mink and died. We lost a honorable man.

The third option was that he did die, but revived him self like Lao G did once his spirit hot a look at the woman that dealt the deathblow.

Exactly. This is definitely the start of some very Sanji-centric developments, that have been hinted ever since the new bounty poster.

What if Jack took Ceasar and Sanji snuck after them to get him back? Isn't the Jack-DoFlamingo-Ceasar an obvious connection? Then something major happened when Jack tried to take DoFlamingo, related to Sanji's bounty poster? We can't really accept "kidnapped" as fact yet.
In any case, i have a very strong impression he went willingly, as Nami and Chopper would probably be desperately going after him otherwise. The way Nami acted here implies she couldn't stop Sanji.

So, I can only imagine SHs are going to reck stuff to get Sanji back. Also, I bet an injured Jack will return back to Zou. Furthermore, I'm having trouble trying to make an legitimate the connection between Sanji's wanted poster and him being theorized by some readers as simply being captured by Jack. Why would the WG care if some pirate kidnapped another pirate?! It has to be more to this than a simple kidnapping, maybe Sanji has or knows something that's really important to the world, hence the "only alive" wanted poster. There has to be way more here than meets the eye. Oda is really toying with us readers.

Simplest answer is that Sanji is secretly an important figure to the WG. Maybe lost royalty.
