Spoiler:
Heh but I admit that most of this stuff is just because I don't like that the series is ending now like this.

Spoiler:
Well, since the chapter is out theres no need to spoiler tag now (albeit its a LQ scan). I've always been curious on Akamatsu's perception of the future timelines, at least now I have confirmation on a parallel dimension concept.
With only 2 chapters left, its kinda hard to guess what will come up next, but I think we'll be getting a major time skip to show how each of them turned out. And probably the series will end with a portrait of Negi's family. Him being a Magister Magi and revealing his wife (FINALLY!!!)
I'm with IceBorg. I didn't like this chapter at all, it introduced all the typical multi-world paradox problems and is shockingly un-resolving. But I doubt Akamatsu cares, he doesn't have much time for explanations anymore anyway.
The last part of the chapter was the best part. Let's dismiss/ignore the deus ex details and just move on.
manga pacing is always a lot better if you take your time with it. didn't feel rushed at all to me.
i just read it at a relaxed pace and it was more like everything was gently breezing along, as opposed to flat-out racing past.
this was just a typical negima chapter IMO. looking forward to next week for sure.
Don't worry, be happy~
I hate how rushed the manga's ending is and I think it sucks it's ending when it has so much potential for more and has so many thrown out plot threads and wasted characters...but I kinda like how quickly Asuna came back.
It was like
Waa Asuna is goneT_T
Hai guys, I'm back ^_^
O_O
ASUNA!!! >////<
I just found it hilarious.
I'm happy at least it's ending on a happy note. This manga HAD to end with a happy note, it just had to, it's what it is.
Oh Akamatsu, ending it with a mass class declothing. Saw it coming a mile a way but lol I just rolled my eyes/
i like how they have a counter against it now (making their other clothes appear by saying "adeat") XD
Don't worry, be happy~
No problem dude, your opinion and I could see where people would come from. I liked it purely on the basis of hilarity.
I'm fine with them just saying Negi is gonna succeed. It was a foregone conclusion. The fun is in the journey...which we're not gonna see.
Edit: That double spread was also pretty amazing though.
BTW, did anyone notice that Fuuka, Fumika and Sakurako got pactios too?

I am not really sure what to think yet. One thing for certain, I love how Fate looks "What the fuck am I doing here" in the graduation spread.
And about the time shenanigans. With the help of second timeline's Chao, Asuna returns the moment after Asuna of the third timeline went to sleep. So does that mean that there are two Asunas in that world now?
Two Eva's too, that's why I said to just forget the problems and just roll with things.
Also, I'm highly detecting a Negi x Eva ship. It's obviously not going to be Asuna anymore, and there's multiple Eva copies to go around...let's change one for the better, shall we? Give her that happily ever after she was destined to never have.
Vampire Princesses tend to not have good ends, i.e. Arcueid, Camilla Bathori, Kiss-Shot, Hornet. Come on Negi, pair off with Eva!!
If Asuna had woken up on time, it would have most definately been NegiXAsuna. Now it seems with her reaction to what Negi told her, it is not the case anymore...Reallyis a blank slate

Better be Eva.
Negi has had the most development with Eva AND there's still a lot of room for them to go. By contrast, there's not a whole lot more to offer with Negi going out with heroines like Chachamaru or Nodoka. No way is he going to pick a student he barely interacted with.
Yue and Eva are on my final two. Possibly Ako as a dark horse candidate. Would love Anya, but the child-hood friend never wins.
Spoiler:
^I would agree with you on those two possibilities, but knowing Akamatsu, he will still probably surprise us.

there, now we have the reaction page here for easy access~
To be honest I'm satisfied. From the situation Asuna was put, I thought it would take more than one chapter to wrap that issue up, but it only took a few pages. I'm happy.
Also, what the hell guys, Evangeline you say, for real?
Its Fate man, Asuna is clearly being a yaoi fangirl here.
Satsuki Yotsuba. Has to be. Negi loves that cooking.
No it didn't. Chao timetravelling brought that concept in hundreds of chapters ago. The fact that she continued to exist even after changing history meant that, of course there were multiple timeline paths. Hell, there was also the path where negi and crew failed and Chao's plan worked and Negi had to timetravel back a week to fix it. So there's a fourth path in there already, and that was before the magic world arc.
NOT a new concept introduced at the last moment.
Yes, but one of them is asleep and providing her magic princess powers to the plan and won't be disturbed for a hundred years. So, technically yes... but also no.
There are two Evas however.

Multi-worlds isn't my beef. Neither is taking Asuna or Eva out of a universe where everyone they ever knew or cared about is long gone. It's taking them and putting them in a universe that already has an Eva and Asuna. Akamatsu is dismissing the Eva problem but the Asuna one persists. We just spent a chapter resolving the ramifications of Asuna's century slumber, and we have to go through it again when the second Asuna wakes up. Akamatsu doesn't have enough time to deal with another sleeping beauty scenario after he just pulled one!
Possibility - the time tripping Asuna becomes the adoptive mother of her stasis self?
