anyway, i remember watching the tom & jerry movie as a kid also, but i saw it in elementary school, and i remember that the second they started talking, i got up and sat in the corner of the room facing away from the screen and refused to watch the rest of the movie because they made tom and jerry talk, it got me in a lot of trouble because i was comitting "insubordination" (like i knew what that meant back then). and it was the only time i ever had to go to the principals office.

No, I couldn't stand the guy either. He was pretty annoying. He just couldn't pull off making fun of something like NC does. I mean, he said the second opening for Deathnote was fitting. Are you kidding me? A whole bunch of Japanese screamo doesn't fit Deathnote just because Misa likes dressing up goth.

Dont really think hes trying to either. NC is all about his jokes(and him screaming), Suede is more of a charmingly narrated look at various anime series, or him talking bout quirky things about that culture thats crossed his mind. And while it is funny its not as comedy heavy as NC.

Not against anyone else, but I prefer that. I'd rather just watch a review that is quite humorous yet true, over a guy telling me about anime he thinks is good.

To me it felt more "naturally funny". The suede fellow had some charm and his humour was good-natured, so even with a subject I despise vehemently (like Lucky Star) I wasn't hurling pea cans at my computer screen.

The NC struck me as merely a raging idiot, with a lot of stock criticisms and no real opinion of his own. I'm not fond of the "I'll do anything to make you laugh' kind of Tom Green character, I much prefer the "I have an opinion and I'll make you laugh if you agree or not" type.

Yes im a huge fan of thatguywiththeglasses myself, I just recently saw his top 11 sadest animated movie moments. He is so hillarious XD I find his acting much better then avgn, which some people say avgn is better, but I fullheartedly disagree.

I have to say the best part about ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com besides obviously the main draw are the other contributors. Benzaie, Suede, Aussie, and Spoony are great, and just held a contest and added three ladies to the team that are all quite funny. Plus they've got some very talented writers over there. Anyone else watch anyone besides just Doug over there?
