If I’m not mistaken, Oda can take one break per month plus Jump double issue, for 1,000 to come this year.

I assume it'll be like what happened with Ch. 900 if need be, where Oda intentionally held off on his scheduled break to give us a 5th chapter in a row.

Obviously we don't even get 4 chapters in a row anymore, much less during a pandemic, but I won't be surprised if he pushes himself at the final stretch to make sure Ch. 1000 happens in time.

I honestly hope he doesn't put his health on the line just to push out the chapter by an arbitrary date. The end of the year, the start of next year, either is fine. But I'm grateful he's trying.
