Whenever you start a NG+, you get Pleinair as a playable character. Losing to Mid-Boss is the quickest route to a NG+ if you really want one, since it gives you the Mid-Boss Ending.
wow, I've never been so tempted to kill myself now. In NG+ I still get to keep my items and levels right? (some RPG's restart your level)
Just to be clear, you guys ARE talking about Demon's Souls right?
I'm in a good mood.
Played some Mirror's Edge and got to chapter 8.

I absolutely adored Mirror's Edge. Especially Time Trials. Plus there is one short cut scene in the single player which really highlights the strenght of first person perspective.
I'm playing...
Mass Effect - because ME2 is coming out soon
Trials HD - because of new DLC
Torchlight - because Diablo III isn't going to be released anytime soon
Trine - because Blizzard probably won't never make Lost Viking 3
World of Goo - because I just bought it
Borderlands - because my little bro is in the town
First person is the Mirror's Edge's one of the biggest selling points. It's the reason why you should play it. Because lotsa stuff in there is awesome specifically because it's in POV. Which is why the animated story sections feels so out of the place.
You aren't just a floating thing in the air unlike in many other first person games. For example and as much as I like Half-Life 2 and it's Episodes in those games, and those game are supposed to be very immersive, Freeman is a ghost. But here you can actually see your feets! Not that many games do that besides Mirror's Edge, and Halo. Perhaps this sounds like I have a feet fetish but, yes, when I play a game I wanna see feets.
I think the game really shines if you choose not to use guns. But I really like how there is still an option to use guns. That way choosing to not use them is very much player's own personal choice to make.
I tried not using guns but at a certain point I couldn't do it anymore. I'm sure it's possible but I'm not skilled enough.
Anyway, I played Assassin's Creed II for 6 hours (yes, 6 hours) today and I'm in love. The story's just awesome, and there's so much more stuff to do than in the first one. I wonder where and when the next one is going to take place? I'm betting the French Revolution.
And I'm currently downloading Shadow of Chernobyl from Steam. Also, speaking of Steam, anyone know how to gift? I had a copy of TF2 I bought awhile ago and got the Orange Box (which comes with TF2) yesterday. I don't care which one I gift but how do I gift one of them?

Been playing The Sims 3 which I got for an early Christmas present around a week ago. I've also been trying to play Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga on my broken DS. Fortunately only the top screen is broken so I can play GBA games, however the L shoulder button is nearly completely unresponsive and that's really bad when you're trying to play Mario and Luigi. lol
Playing Indigo Prophecy (or Fahrenheit everywhere else but the US). It's awesome
. I lost a couple times, first by mixing medicine with alcohol
, and then I got arrested because a cop found something incriminating when he searched my apartment. They need to make more games like this.

Holy fucking shit man! I fucking love Indigo Prophecy!
Spoiler:
Anyone who hasn't played this go and play it now! I think it's still around $4 on Steam.
