Vorg (Volg?) now is probably the best fighter after Martinez and Takamura, I'm not sure when VB1 was made though, so maybe it was when he was still in Japan? He wasn't quite as strong back then.
yes
no
wats that?

"takamura rules!" :lol:definately, soon enough tho youll see to what lengths he'll go to prove his greatness.(after the vorg vs. ippo fight, in the hospital...)
yeah vorg is good in the gba game, personally my favorites are mashiba, ippo, vorg, miyata, sendo (the rest i dont care about)Yeah, I know. I like Vorg (he's one of my favorite characters), but I was kind of disappointed that he gets knocked down so easily in VB. He's a lot better in the GBA game though.
its vorg, you know how the japanese mix up the L and R sounds...Vorg (Volg?) now is probably the best fighter after Martinez and Takamura, I'm not sure when VB1 was made though, so maybe it was when he was still in Japan? He wasn't quite as strong back then.
and vb1 was made in 2001, and the story mode in vb1 goes upto the sawamura fight (and by volume 52 vorg shows he is wayyy stronger than he was when he fought ippo/sendo), so i dont know why they always make him weak...

Stop posting, devil.
Episode 76 of the anime is the end, with Sendo and Makunouchi II. The OVAs have Kimura's match and something else minorly important. Oh yeah, the Sanada match.
I was actually a little annoyed that such a good anime (in terms of quality, few match it) went nowhere in Japan. Maybe there should have been filler with SendoXMiyata implications. There were some rumors of a return, though.

I've caught up to SnoopyCool's translation. Hawk vs Takamura and Date vs Martinez are my favorite fights. The Sawamura fight looks like it'll be great.

I didn't like the Sawamura fight. I think it was too hyped to me, with all those "Sawamoora is evul" scenes. And people were like "he came so close to winning!" I don't think so, it was like Arlong against Luffy.

Now this is a rumour, I read it off another forum but haven't seen any confirmation on this...
SnoopyCool won't be releasing anymore Hajime No Ippo at least until the earliest Christmas. Why you ask? Because apparently they are gonna release 21 volumes of Ippo, so we'll end up in volume 70 something.
I hope this is true, cause if it is I don't mind waiting until Christmas to get an update.
Ah, thanks for mentioning this, looks like you're right. It's going to be a rough three months, but a helluva Christmas.Originally Posted by Chiyo-chan

Kinda joking, devil
For the heck of it, I think I'll post my top 20, pound for pound, in their known primes.

5) Vorg
6) Miyata
7) Nekota
8) Eagle

13) Sawamura
14) Gregory
15) Kimura
16) Shimabukuro
17) Sanada
