Or one of the most confusing and ragged stories told in the gaming history . But this one supposedly patches up the story pretty throughoutly. It better do, with 90 minutes of cinematics and all. So get your popcorns ready!

I'm guessing you're refering to Metal Gear Solid 2? Yeah, the ending was a bit of a mind rape, but after a few run-throughs I actually understand most of it. The other confusing stuff were obviously left as cliff hangers, such as

Some of the other stuff weren't made to make sense, such as when the colonel said something along the lines of purple stuffed worms playing Hari-Kiri with tuning forks and needing scissors. 61!!!
I seriously laughed at that. It was the most random thing I encountered in such a serious video game.

The game will be amazing. In a few hours there will only be 12 days left. sigh... damn. I just hope that Ocelot will somehow regain control of himself. He's just too interesting of a villain to fizzle out.

I've heard rumors about playing as Raiden... but they really wern't from credible sources. I'd put my money on only playing as Snake.

I think Raiden's sudden badass-ness comes from the ridicule he got when he was playable. Kojima didn't understand why American audiences didn't like him (my gripe was the voice actor...). But Snake is awesome enough! So it really doesn't matter to me.

Yeah.. he was pretty whiney about a lot of things. And complained alot. But it would have been boring and pointless to put in another level-headed pro like Snake. That would have been retarded. It sucked not being able to play as snake for most of the game.. but it did give a different angle on the character, which is always nice.

not joking... i guess i was just really into it. I thought it was some kind of psycho mantis like trick. Then i felt really really dumb.

And later on why Raiden has to fight like 20+ Rays, i let him get killed... cause of all the "what is really real" talk that happened before. The situation just didn't seem believable! I thought it was one of those boss fights that you "had" to lose for progressing the story. And then i felt really dumb (although i thought that part was overkill.. i mean 20+ metal gears get destroyed by Raiden?)
