For some reason I cannot create threads or vote on polls. Is there something wrong with my account?
- Due to a large volume of dupe accounts to sway polls, voting has been restricted from new members and guests. This applies to creating threads as well. These privileges are given to members on a case by case basis, revolving largely around activity and account age.

So, be active. Post in existing threads. Be a member of the community. And in due time you will gain the ability to make your own threads.

I don't know what's wrong but the Xbox thread in the video game section won't mark itself read. I marked the entire subforum read recently but today, the thread went right back to saying I hadn't read it and it's really bugging me. Is it possible for one of the mods or admins to see if there's anything wrong with that thread, or if it's even happening to other people?

I ask that every once in a while and finally remember it to spread to others.

It was when 2chan, the place where this forum usually gets its OP chapter spoilers from, went down, but one of our members managed to get the spoilers before it happened and posted them here. So everyone came here to see the spoilers because it was the only place to see them at that time.

Spoilers for a chapter were posted on 2ch and then deleted. But before they were deleted, someone got hold of them and posted them here. So everybody came over here. That was back when you didn't have to be a member to view spoilers.

Then, the regular visitors of AF were like "What's that noise? Why is the ground shaking?" "Look, over the hill" "Hide your women and children!" "Incoming!".

Hey, does anyone know about how to transfer a whole Itunes library from one computer to another. I'm talking 60 GB of music here.

Is all of it bought from iTunes? If it's not you could probably just use a flashdrive to do it, or you could even use the iPod as a flash drive. If it is all bought from iTunes, I'm not sure how that would work.

You've probably thought of doing this already though, so it's probably not helping .

I'm insulted at the very notion that I purchase music from Itunes.

Anyway it's solved, the dude at Best Buy pointed me toward a Ex-Hardrive that works with both Mac and PC.

This is rather silly, but could a CRT TV implode just because it reached the end of its lifetime?

My TV often swichtes itself off and on again, has a huge spot that changes red to pink and just today the audio stopped and wouldn't come back until I switched the TV off and on again.
I didn't think any of it and wanted to use it as long as possible, but now a friend scared me into thinking that something serious could happen. That's especially worrying because I often doze off with the TV on ...

I don't know about imploding, but some of those TVs can catch fire and usually when that happens, it's because of a technical fault (like bad solder joints, which in turn are usually caused by the old age and inadequate cooling of the device, and might be the cause behind your TV troubles as well...). If you want to feel safe, I recommend turning the power or standby power off or even unplugging the TV when it's not being used.

Have anyone heard about Impulse driven/Gamestop or whatever it's called?

I've purchased some games there (four to be exact) and I'm a little afraid I dumped my money into a hole.
The whole thing started when I tried to log in but I couldn't. I reset my password, but it doesn't work. It just says, that it's incorrect or something.
I just wanted to switch e-mails since I haven't been using the old one for a long time.
Even though I can't log in, I still have access to my games (though I can only play the one that's installed. I can't install the others), on top of that, I could still purchase one without a problem. I'm just worried that something'll go wrong eventually.

I looked it up on google, and apparently, some people say Gamestop/Impulse sucks and shouldn't be used because costumers will loose their money or something. They also said that the costumer service is worth nothing.
Needless to say, I'm scared.

I've never used it personally, but people were worried when Gamestop bought it since a lot of people really dislike Gamestop. If I were you I would email them. I also suggest using Steam if you want a digital download service.
