Where do you bas...I mean ppl get this manga from? Do you read the Viz releases? If so are they worth getting or should I aim to get the RAWs? I hear he refrences a lot of Heavy Metal bands, sorta like how Araki refences music bands as such in JoJo & SBR.

From what I understood the VIZ translations are too kiddy and don't fit with the original fouler language. They also changed a bunch of heavy metal inspired names due to copyright issues. So yeah, I'd suggest you to try the raw/scanlations. And how convenient, the first 2 scanlated volumes are right here, you just have to ask...

Hmmm well since it suffered censorship/I'm too cheap to buy the series, I'll check out those scannies. Probably when I get my deskjob back this summer, hehehe

It seems the KnA releases of Bastard!! (Vol. 3 onward) are scans of the VIZ releases, not translations of the Japanese volumes. Ah, well the VIZ verion isn't that bad, though I'm intrigued about that "pimping project"

Is that true? I noticed the names of the spells were in a gothic front like in Bennyb's avatar but I supposed it was just the scanlators being coherent with the "official" VIZ material. Why the hell are they releasing a chapter every month then? Surely it doesn't take that long to scan a chapter from a book.

Oh crap. This guy has some amazing art and he got good, fast! Like I was checking out vol 1+2 scanlations, then I compared them to the previous pics that people posted and they were awesome! I still have a lot of catching up to do but this guy rocks. His art got better as he went on.

The Action Figures look pretty cool too. I guess D.S "Level's Up" later on in the manga or something. But yeah it's pretty bad ass. I wish there was more info on the net though. This Manga get's no love.

I think its just because its not translated yet, but the story seems to jump around alot in the middle and is fucking confusing

Nah even translated it's extremely confusing. It's almost as if it's another manga, but somehow it keeps a certain coherence.

That thread on the Narutofan forums was very informative. Even if it did contain plenty of spoilers, it was well thought out and I just can't wait to read the rest of the Manga. I am enjoying the Manga so far and it really is cool.
