What's Macedonia's defense

Well they've been called Macedonians for a long time. But Ancient Macedonia would barely have covered their lands, if anything the Republic of Macedonia would have been the backwood hinterlands of Macedonia, whereas the important and main parts are all in northern Greece.

Also the Macedonian's ethnically have nothing to do with Ancient Macedonians or Greeks, they're Slavs who came in much later (awhile after the fall of Western Rome) and they're basically the same as Bulgarians if anything.
While the Ancient Macedonians (like Alexander) weren't Greek, they did take over Greece and Hellenized themselves (like how the Manchu took over China and partly Sinicized themselves). And they spread Greek culture across Asia all the way to India so they really volunteered themselves to be Greek.
And by this point the desecendents of Ancient Macedonia would be the Greeks who live up in that part of the country too.

Croatia continues hoping that the reputation for genocide sticks to Serbia alone and that everyone forgets that during WW2 the Croatians were so genocidal they even made the Nazi's freaked out.

I think they've succeeded in that. Croatia is one of the most tourist countries in Europe.

That's hilarious. It says that one news anchor couldn't stop laughing when trying to say it, that seems like kind of an overreaction . And it's actually not Hollande's name that this is about, it's the name of the PM he appointed.

This isn't really random, but I thought I'd post it. Basically it was the long weekend for Victoria Day (which was on Monday), and the weekend was also the first summer break this year. My town doesn't get a lot of news stories, and as a result we usually had to grit our teeth while local headlines read some mundane story about a woman and her cat, or local volunteering...

However this weekend was pretty different. It starts off with several forest fires not only outside of our city, but in the heart of it, too, one is still smouldering right behind a high school.

There was a drowning as well as a death from ATV accident.

But most of all, (and what I'm really scared about for long-term purposes) a truck carrying a full load of Formaldehyde crashed on one of our highways located right beside our lake, which is our cities source for drinking water...yes, it all spilled right into the lake, and the driver passed away shortly after in the hospital.

It's been a shitty weekend...but I'm worried that the city is covering up the damaging effects that the chemicals have on our lake. dozens of people were evacuated from the area, and the lake is closed off for swimming, but as far the tap water goes, the city says it will not effect us.

I for one will be drinking water bottles for a little while now...

There's the article if any chemicals experts want to verify the facts presented, they contradicted themselves by saying that the chemical cannot be boiled out, and yet it won't be effecting our tap water in any way. Somehow I doubt this.

PCP. He means the PCP.

PCP has the tendency to make people...hungry for human flesh, and crazy; hence the hunger for human flesh--though there is actually a mental illness too that gives the same craving, no drugs required. I mean...the guy was clearly crazy afterall, more than likely because of intense drug use: Being naked outdoors, on top of another guy, and chewing on his face.
