While the third game did have a somewhat increased amount of set-pieces I never felt the platforming or gunfights had gotten the shaft.
I think the only gunfights in the game that were bad was everything that immediately takes place after Nate drinks the water made even more stupid by the fact

Either that or people simply aren't giving Sony enough credit for not doing something that realistically they would have no reason to do because it wouldn't benefit them. I mean Sony did tune out some people with some of the things they did with the PS3 and though they were forgiven for some of those decisions by most of their fanbase Sony can't afford to alienate them again.
Given the amount of money publisher's rake in off DLC combined I'd be willing to say alot. Though there'd probably be less butthurt over all that if someone from the industry would reaffirm the fact that obtaining DLC is optional under most circumstance.
