While the third game did have a somewhat increased amount of set-pieces I never felt the platforming or gunfights had gotten the shaft.

I think the only gunfights in the game that were bad was everything that immediately takes place after Nate drinks the water made even more stupid by the fact
    Spoiler:
That all the enemies you fight are hallucinations who are just regular enemies just incredibly harder to kill

Either that or people simply aren't giving Sony enough credit for not doing something that realistically they would have no reason to do because it wouldn't benefit them. I mean Sony did tune out some people with some of the things they did with the PS3 and though they were forgiven for some of those decisions by most of their fanbase Sony can't afford to alienate them again.

Given the amount of money publisher's rake in off DLC combined I'd be willing to say alot. Though there'd probably be less butthurt over all that if someone from the industry would reaffirm the fact that obtaining DLC is optional under most circumstance.

With the Vita, I think Sony did their best job of launching a piece of hardware with support in a while.

But good lord, they did so by taking all of the good releases from the next two months and sticking them in the launch window. And help is not on the way any time soon.

This is the "PS3 doesn't have any games" imbroglio again.

I'm getting tired of waiting for decent vita games.

Here I am with a vita for two weeks still in its box and nothing cool to justify opening it.

Usually people buy a console when there is something for it. :/

But I kinda want Little Kings Story 2. First one for the Wii was amazingly fun.

I think the Vita is phenomenal. I grabbed Hot Shots Golf, Lumines, Uncharted, and Rayman when the system came out and have enjoyed all of them. But the only major release in April is Disgaea 3, which is a port. Next month is marginally better with Mortal Kombat (uninterested) and Resistance, which I might pick up just for the lack of anything else to play.

But this is quite the dry spell until June.

Persona 3: FES is coming to PSN as a PS2 classic for $9.99. I own the physical copy but only played an hour of it... I'd prefer to have it on my PS3 (as I would everything) but I'm not gonna pay $10 for the convenience. Now I do hope Persona 4 comes to the PSN for $10 eventually as well, cause that's a PS2 game you can't physically buy for that cheap, cheapest I've ever seen it has been $20, and I hear that's considered a steal for it.

I guess it rules out a HD remake. But still awesome to see it there. I own the PSP version so see no need to buy once more tho.

Now bring Suikoden 3, 4, 5, Dragon Quest (dunno about this one. Would probably expect a Wii U remake over PS3 considering DQ seems to be hugs with Nintendo again), Dark Cloud, 2 and all of the other awesome JRPGs of last gen onto it too. Would certainly pay for those

We still need Suikoden 2, before any of the later ones.

    Fuck. Yes.

Seeing as how the only copy of that game I've ever played was borrowed from my cousin, I am more than happy to pay a mere 10 bucks to own this game.

Can't speak for Europe, but the US PSN has had it for years. I bought it a year ago when it was on sale for $2.99, never played it lol.

Is there a reason as to Why Legend of Dragoon or Legend of Legaia is not on the Classics list for PS3/Ps1 yet..
I do see Japan did get Dragoon though on the PS3 stores

    So...I have a Vita now.

....It's wonderful. I mean, yeah, there aren't enough good games out now, but I got UMvC3 as a gift. Holy shit, the online play is phenomenal! I feel like I'm playing the PS3 version in handheld form. Sure, the graphics are toned down and there are some longer load times, but that's barely a sacrifice. So yeah...I approve.

Once MK9 comes out....Oh dear god, I don't know if any handheld game will compare, save for FE: Awakening or Kid Icarus: Uprising.

The graphics are insane, but I'm still going to refuse to open mine until I see something worthy of christening this beast.

    Preferably a shootem up.

Meh. Playing UMvC3 Arcade while playing the Sonic Generations soundtrack on the Vita. I have my methods of waiting for the games I want.

If you've not played Rayman on other consoles (and the Vita version is superior anyways), it's the best 2d-platformer I've played since...well...a long time. Well worth a christening.

Only thing even approaching a shoot'em up on the system that I know of is Super Stardust. Have they announced any for the future?
