I'm not sold on Gravity Rush's controls/mechanics yet, but man, does it ever capture that old-school 3D platforming joy that's been missing. And the atmosphere has that pleasant/bubbly Level Five feel to it.
Not that far in, but had one of those "ooooh" moments the first time I realized I could zoom out on the World Map.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Dear Playstation:
I don't mind touchscreen and tilt controls in my Vita games. In fact, when well-implemented, they're part of what make it such a nice gaming system.
But if I ever decide I want to play a racing sequence where I have to tilt the whole screen in order to move from side to side, I'LL BLOODY WELL TELL YOU.
I think the new Lumines and Gravity Rush are worth getting a Vita for because I'm losing self control to not get it
I mean when I have a launch 3DS it's like
why even try to stop it anymore clearly I'm going to get every handheld and console at launch or close to forever why bother
and
and Lumines
it's so shiny fuuuuck
The only big thing I'd play Lumines for is the character avatars actually having unique special abilities this time around. The only downside is the gimmick behind it... Rubbing the Vita to build up special meter is all kinds of awkward for a puzzle game.
Wait, you can do that? I thought it just charged up over time and was activated by touching the icon on the screen.
Of course, I never swapped avatars.
As for Gravity Rush, I'm a decent bit into it. It's certainly got its flaws--when combat gets complicated, it can get pretty frustrating, and some of the timed side-challenges have some super finicky moments--but it's still fun through it all. If I could describe it in a word, I'd probably go with "charming."
Tomba coming to PSN here in June! YAY!
Now all I need is Tomba 2, Medievil 2, and most of all, mega man 8. C'mon capcom, it's the last one I'm missing bar the PSP remakes (an X7. But I'll be damned if I'll ever buy that)!

Wait, when was MonkeyBall Vita announced? http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/06/15/super-monkey-ball-banana-splitz-coming-to-ps-vita-october-23rd/
Eight player online Monkey Target? I may never sleep again.
A new PSN Ratchet and Clank has been announced (Full Frontal Assault)!

While this makes me happy, I really wonder why the ball was dropped and it wasn't announced last week during E3.
It's a downloadable game from a franchise that's been puttering in sales for a few years. Not the kind of thing to rally the troops at E3.
Speaking of which, R&C: All 4 One was one of the free games in the States for the PSPlus bash. Quite good if you can get a consistent team of four players together, but pretty glitchy. Really unclear to me why they ever thought it would do well as a full-priced retail game.
Full Frontal Assault's gonna be called Q-Force in Europe and will have a retail release.

LOVE AND PEACE
Not surprised. Sega didn't want to spend the money making a second PS3 game so they made PSP games. Now that's too expensive for them so they go social.
I cannot believe Dragoon is out today! Ive been meaning to finish this game after the last copies me and a friend never got to the last disc

Finished Gravity Rush. Very solid game, but the wave of 9/10 and 10/10s might be a bit optimistic. Combat gets a little tedious at the end, and it seems to end mid-thought.
Still, it's a great sign for what the Vita can be, and I will look forward to the sequel.
Hey guys, I have been thinking about buying one of those ps2 classic bundles like the Team Ico and the Sly Cooper one but I am not sure which one I should get first as I never played SotC or the Sly series though I do like the Infamous series a lot. Also, does anyone know if there are any other good bundles coming in the future?

Ico/Shadow for what they bring to the table that most other games don't should be your first port of call.
The Sly series is decent enough, I certainly enjoyed them. Although 2 is pretty repetitive and dull after the first few levels. I'm sure people will also recommend Jak or Ratchet Trilogies too. The Metal Gear Solid and Devil May Cry ones are decent too.

Jak Trilogy hasn't aged well. Might say the same for Metal Gear Solid 2 of the MGS Trilogy. And ICO/SotC didn't really do it at all for me after I was in love with them on PS2, but they're probably the games that most need to be experienced.
But as far as personal favorites, I'd go with Sly. Sly 2 IS a little repetitive, but it's consistently charming. And Sly 3 is one of the most varied/fun games ever.
Thanks for the reccomendations, I already played a bit of the jak games and had the first three Ratchet games on ps2. Hmm, I will probably get the Ico bundle first since it seems to bring the most variety though I will probably get them both because of how much I enjoyed infamous2 and would like to support an overlooked developer like Sucker Punch.
Speaking of overlooked developers, when is that new Ico game supposed to come out? It looked really cool.

The Last Guardian?
No one fucking knows.
