I haven't finished the first Sniper Elite, but I really liked V2.

Now just give us Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles Sega.
So my boyfriend just bought a brand-new PS Vita & 8gb memory card from his boss for $120, which was an amaaaaazing deal. :D I'm wondering what games are worth buying from it, though. I heard Gravity Rush is good? Maybe the Uncharted game too.
Any recommendations?

Depends on gaming preference.
Best all-around showcase of the Vita, in my eyes, is Rayman Origins. Pretty graphics and music, bite-sized stages, some light touch controls.
Best puzzle game is clearly Lumines.
Best original game is Gravity Rush.
Some others--the shine wore off Uncharted but I still like it, and some swear by Mortal Kombat/UMvCIII--are quite good, and some of the nice titles--Hot Shots Golf--are great for that category.
Yup, we have Rayman Origins for the PS3 & it's a gem of a game (love the soundtrack too, very happy music). We'll probably wait until the price drops a bit before getting it for the Vita since we already have it. Gravity Rush is looking really sweet to me though, & I really like the Uncharted series, so I think those might be future buys (in fact, my bf might be able to snag Uncharted for $10 from his boss as well and if so, that's definitely worth owning at that price).
But I'm really curious about how Mortal Kombat/UMvC3 plays on the Vita. Does anyone have any info about how well the controls are for those games (buttons vs touchscreen, ect)? Can you play online against PS3 players, or only other Vita players? We're both into fighting games, but the controls for the Vita makes me wonder about how well the input works for this system.

Only have experience with UMvC3, so can't speak to Mortal Kombat. Touchscreen controls are fun, though they make the game a little overly simplistic. I had some issues with regular inputs, in that my thumb would frequently jog the left stick when trying to hit the down arrow on the d-pad and ruin a combo, but I haven't seen that in other reviews. I'm a bit of a fighting neophyte, but it looked good and played well. Online is supposedly almost as good as it is on PS3.
Uncharted...I actually enjoyed it as much or more than U3 the first time I played it, but that probably has as much to do with my disappointment over U3 as it does my enjoyment of Golden Abyss. It has a very slow beginning, but it picks up towards the middle, and combat eventually feels pretty solid. Graphics aren't quite as mind-blowing as initial reviews might lead you to expect, but they're very nice and with some nice Uncharted 1 style vistas. And even if it's Uncharted Light, the personality/fun is still there. Best of all, there are collectibles all over the bloody place, so it encourages exploration more effectively than the others in the series.
I know you can play UMvC3 online against at least other Vita players, but I don't think it allows you to play against PS3 owners as far as I know. Otherwise it controls perfectly fine. Mortal Kombat might but I haven't got the chance to test that myself or much else considering I've only gotten the game recently.
However I believe Blazblue: Continuim Shift 2 Extend has online play against both Vita and PS3 owners~

Haunting Ground is the next PS2 classic. I feel less special for owning a physical copy now (it's fairly rare).
For those who don't know the game it's the byproduct of the canceled Clocktower 4 and Hooked-Man version of Resident Evil 4. It was pretty much the last true survival horror game Capcom released.

Random thought: are there any more games being developed specifically for the Move? Isn't it pretty much time to write that one off as a loss?

...I guess there's Sports Champions 2.

Oh yeah, I knew waiting to buy these series was the right decision
If they're at a reduced price then yay. like £20 per set. If not then no interest.
